I've updated my ol' Logitech Quickcam messenger to it's newest 2007 QC version...

The ol' cam made some annoyin' echoes when talkin' on online games like Team Fortress 2...

now the NEW model DOES THE SAME when i try the mic..and the logitech site says it has a technology called RightSound..i've enabled all echo cancellation functions..but the echo's STILL THERE!!

The funny thing is that there's NO ECHO when i use Quickcam applz...WHY?!?!

is there a way to remove this damn thing??..i've got my speakers 30cm separated from my cam...and the cam's "clingued" on my 20" monitor..

Echoes are created by your friends, your voice is outputted thru their speakers, is echoing on some wall and then reinjected in their mic. Your new cam "echo cancellation functions" will remove echoes for them not for you.
Make them fix their setup or both use headphones.
