well actually that $500 also includes the discount I got signing a fucking 3 year contract!

the one with the cover off lasted almost a year, the intact barely working one I've only had a couple months.

So I dropped my phone in a pint of beer (SE w810i walkman phone), resting it on top taking a picture. fumbled it a bit while I was taking it out of the beer too. Now on the number pad only the 3,6 and 9 keys work, the shutter button on the side for the camera phone is now a 7, and it won't read the memory card either ... sometimes it has trouble with the sim card too. So basically no camera or mp3 player anymore. And I can only call contacts I have saved.

Thing is, I bought this phone to replace the exact same one I had dropped swimming in a water fountain at the Mirage in Las Vegas during the summer. That same phone I once dropped in a toilet as well, but at least that time it survived perfectly.

So in conclusion, I am a fucking retard who should not own a nice phone Razz Going to get a cheap phone + stand alone mp3 player and bring my digicam with me when I want to use it. I carry a man purse to work anyways, so I have the room to carry it. I don't need something so easy to fuck up whilst loaded.

I know this rant is pretty calm, because it did this last week and have had a chance to relax. But fuck, it still sucks to kill 2 phones that I liked a lot :/

LOL, moral of the story stay away from liquid when using phone?

I broke my nokia by dropping it at college onto a solid concrete floor.. the screen cracked straight down the middle and it looked as if liquid was whirling around inside.

My Next phone (samsung z500) also got dropped and the button which releases the battery pack got snapped and I ended up having to tape it over or the phone would randomly lose power because the battery slid down. Laughing Pic here

My current phone the LG chocolate is yet to endure its first accident, I hope I dont break it since its the nicest phone ive had :

I broke my P900 by dropping it into a glass of beer once. It was pretty new at the time too and had cost me about $300.

Got a W810i now though and I gotta say I love it, too bad you've broken 2 of them.

I love my Motorola V325, a bit stylish but nothing too fancy. I dropped it in a toilet earlier this year and I got it out before the white dot could change color. So I let it dry out for a day or two then went to verizon and they replaced it for free Wink.

I actually want the LG Voyager but that seems like a disaster waiting to happen. Especially since it's got the screen visible. I like flip phones so my screen doesn't get all fucked.

Not to piss anyone off, but why the hell are you using your phone in the toilet?

Seems strange to me Laughing

My first Cellphone (Nokia5125) fell into the school toilet out of my sweatshirt 'hands pockets', I got it to work afterwards, but the antenna went dead somehow and it couldn't connect to network :/
Though, I was able to play Snake on it! Razz LOL

Nokia's cellphones are the best when it's about endurance and cell phone armor Razz
