K, my time to bitch! Got this flu, and it reached my ears yesterday... Man! I have extremely sensitive ears. Used to have ear infections like every Xmas when I was a kid, at least I remember it like that. Was out for a walk with the Mrs some days ago...forgot to put a cap on...after 15 min (-1C or so) I almost ran home...throbbing pain, thought I was having a seizure or somet. I can relate to that pain man, believe me, its almost as bad as a toothache....almost! Get better, and lay low. Eat that antibiotic and the pain will pass fast, sleep a lot.

A virus and antibiotics well...everybody knows (at least I do ) that there isn't a treatment for viruses. There is only symptomatic treatment that ease the situation and take off the load form your body fighting the virus and other side effects simultaneously. Antibiotics are against bacterias and are quite poisonous. Most of the bacterias living in your body are in symbiosis with you and help your body fight the diseases. Antibiotics are blind and kill also the good bacterias leaving your body vulnerable especially if its already fighting a virus.... If you have a virus then DO NOT TAKE ANTIBIOTICS!!! rgds Sabalasa

Yeah, yeah, don't know exactly what it is lol. Ear pain is just insane, I guess because it's so close to the brain. I couldn't move the other day, because the every move was like a sword cutting my head lol. Now, my left ear is still a bit mute, I hope it goes away soon. And yes, I'm reading the description now, it says "Antibiotic for the treatment of infections caused by bacteria sensitive to Amoxycillin." Huh...Amoxycillin is quite mild antibiotics. It can also be given to 2 years old kids (unlike other strong antibiotics) rgds Sabalasa

You should go to the doctor and get antibotics. If it is something that drags on and on, it be a bacteria related infection. Talk to your docter. He can at least test you for a few bacteria infections to make sure.
