i just checked and the earliest mp3s i have are dated back to 1997
Danzig - Mother.mp3 => 13.04.1997
most of the early ones are from around 98/99 though.
MPEG 1.0 layer 3, 128kbit, 44100Hz, Joint Stereo, CBR

Got some oldschool Hip-hop and house dating back to 1989. Thats what the CD dates to anyway.
Fav is Humanoid - Slam
LAME 3.6 VBR 44.1 KHz Joint Stereo
Also got some Bonkers albums of bouncy UK Happy Hardcore from 1996.

same here, they've been copied. oldest thing right now is 'Millencolin - Life On A Plate' from Nov 2002...

I have also recently copied my mp3's to a new hard drive, so all of mine say 11/6/2007. So i am not sure what my oldest ones are either
If it's not broke, i can fix it

hahahaha, the nofx one must be a mistake though, because the mp3 encoder was first released in the mid-90ies
Nice mp3-list too =)
