i dont particuarly like RPGs but...
FF7
Shenmue
Fallout
Fallout 2
Diablo 2
i would say system shock 2 but thats not a rpg as such. ive missed 1 off but dunno which exactly.

fallout is pretty old. u can get them both for about £5 in a double pack. i got fallout 1 and 2 double pack for 10£ i think when it was first released. money well spent

ya i did find same screen shots and it looks like really old game
bit too old if u ask me
i was hopeing for a game like diablo only better
when diablo 2 come out i buy it and i remmber haveing alot of fun playing it

You can try Sacred...the new 1.7 patch+Sacred PLUS went out..It's a good game, with alot to offer.

Ok, you asked for RPG's...not Diablo, Diablo is not really a rpg, it lacks the main ingredient of all rpg's, a solid story.
My advice to you would be Sacred:

Sacred, however, is not better then Diablo, it is good, but does not live up to the extremely addictive gameplay in the Diablo series, mostly because the items suck, and you never really care what item you will get next.
If you really want a real rpg though I would say PS: T but if your not willing to play F2 you wouldnt touch that I guess.

yea sacred was nice. and fallout is bad because the graphics suck? thats like saying monkey island 2 sucks or starcraft sucks. all the games are amazing and dont need graphics to carry them.

Well 5 RPGs that I think are the best :
1)Fallout 2 (the best RPG in the world, do whatever you want, be whoever you want, Fallout 1 is pretty good too but the second one is much more better)
2)Might and Magic 6 (very old and olny the true fan of Might and Magic series would understand it and like it, MM7 is very good, but not so good as MM6)
3)SW:KotOR (the main thing that was perfect in this game was Storyline, it was amaizing)
4)DeusEx (well this one is more like a FPS/RPG but the storyline is very good and the game is very fun to play)
5).............I don't know maybe Elder Scrolls 3:Morrowind with all of it's add-ons, but I didn't like ir because of the dark and creepy world, I liked it only because the was very easy world builder, where you could build your own fantasy world)
And in My opinion Diablo series and Sacred are not RPG, it some sort of Hack'n'Slash where the only goal is to kill is't not RPG is S***

ive been playing icewind dale 2 that is a pretty good "allround rpg"
im also looking for a good rpg (i get these urges sometimes)
but i didnt like gothic (thought it was so so bad, might have improved with patches though)
and ive finished of nwn + the expansions
played morrowind for some time but got bored
an rpg like fallout would be super or even dues ex
kotor had a superb story to bad that the range weapons sucked (melee the way to go!)

Since you wasnt interrested in non-hack-an-slash I wont say "The Temple Of Elemental Evil"
Have you tried Spell force? Its an RPG RTS hybrid, in some lvls you play around with your hero alone, some with some minor heroes too and some are RTS.
