So theres a leak of the feature length sg1 episode due to air in march doing the rounds, quality is pretty poor.. cropped ect,ect.
Got it and will watch later..
Anyone else like sg1 been waiting for this?

yes, because a: i started watching and liking it again after johnny joined the team, and b: stargate the series ended on the WORST episode EVER, and it needs a proper finale... i mean seriously, ive never seen a series... ANY series.. that got to have a full run, end on such a bad... such a horribly idiotic and poorly thought-up episode.. EVER...
so yeah, i recently started watching sg again, and im definately looking forward to this.

thanks for the heads up or i would have missed it ,watched about 70% of it so far damn good movie and this copy is very watchable! much better than the atlantis leaks.
edit just read on a stargate site theres a 1:07 long version with no cgi doing the rounds, the one i downloaded was 1:40 odd and seemed to have all the cgi there, although i was browsing the net at the same time

i think theres just a bit of the top of the screen cropped off, probably had a timer or ident number up there, didnt seem to spoil it for me though

most of the cgi is there i would say around 90% it seems near the end of the film is where its missing only, abit where on the screen it says "VFX fire takes human form" you see the fire and the human form with fire aura though i guess they still needed to add the transformation, and then theres a fight between an ori and an ancient where they morph into there energy forms and fight but they morph into little bean bag looking orbs that chase each other around a little bit before one wins.
i guess this was in the final stages of cgi when it was stolen from the studio

looks nice but its tided with the ending of season 4 of Stargate Atlantis , most of the plot is
So yeah its nice but you will get it after you saw the second part of the forth season of Atlantis and they fight with Replicators

i also got hold of the stargate leak, but it seems i'm getting no audio when i play it, but picture quality is abit shocking, anybody tell me what codec to use with it.

i just played in in www.videolan.org no need to stumble around finding codecs but if you really want to just download the codecs then grab http://www.headbands.com/gspot/ and analyze the move with that (takes like 5 seconds) and it will tell you the audio and video codecs used.
btw if you play it in vlc and turn on deinterlacing it gets rid of all the weird lines on alot of the scenes

i have a version of 904MB. sounds good, good video quality. pretty good movie. could be better though. at least i expected more. it's just like a the end of a season and the beginning of the next.
on the other hand, they had a budget of only 7-8 mil $....

you have just seen the works copy with only 30% of the Computer graphic animations in it , Its like watching Jurassic Park work copy with no dinosaurs and wondering why on earth they act like that

forgot to add a reply to this thread after watching it..
the only missing effects i noticed were when they were shooting replicators at 1 point and they would just disapear instead of shatter into pieces.
was a good watch over all.

ark of truth is between season 3 and 4 of atlantis. Thats why Sam is still in sg-1.
