didnt the readme for the crack state that the save-games should be in the system folder when using it? Try copying the files over there. Or read the readme again. Cant really remember as the crack didnt do squat for me... |
Cool Lutzifer, didn't even take a look at the read me. Thanks, will take a look and make the change.

You can find torches in some houses.
A torch goes into the small weapon slot on Geralts leg. You take it out with the "Y" key.
But you can also use cat potions. If you helped Triss in the prologe she gives you the recipe.

I didn't help Triss, and I got the scroll somehow. I can't remember how exactly, but I'm sure I didn't buy it.
BUT, you don't necessarily need the recipe to make a potion. You can make them yourself, if you know the ingredients needed.
For example, if you want to make a "cat" potion, I recall you need:
Spoiler: |
Strong alcohol (can 'store' 3 ingredients)
Ingredient that contains 'Rebis' (green stuff)
2x Ingredient that contains 'Quebrith' (yellow stuff)

Yes you can manually brew the potions even if you haven't got the recipe.
Here is a list of all potions and the ingredients needed.

well,it´s simple.you have to buy and read all the scrolls the thievs stolen from kaer molden (and if you got the money all the books too.they talk about monsters, potions, herbs, metals, and if you are into the story,i´m talking bout the books, the game follow it prety close)
madnessnaab.it´s the same as you level up.you nned to rest close to a fire, then the potions icon appears.after that you can create potions if you got the components you need
MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU

sounds like you tried the russian 1.1 crack that comes with an ini file, that you are supposed to copy to the game / or game-system dir. Delete that ini file (i think it was either autorun.ini or autoexec.ini). That should fix it.

Who spoke Geralt in the english version? I'm having big trouble in finding some useful informations about the cast. The credits aren't helping cause they don't mention who spoke who....

Finished it just now.
Wow, very good game, one of the few games i played through to the end.
Spoilers, read only if you finished the game!
Spoiler: | Alvin probably was the Grand Master, and some Witcher assassin that kinda looked like some future Gerald.
It reminded me kinda like the PoP: WW story where you see your future self but don't know who it is, and later you see yourself at the exact same place but you're the future one now.
Well lest just wait till the sequel, i hope they put in seasons. The snow would really look good in the villages. |
