one of the best parts about FO2 is it loads pretty much instantly, plays great, looks great, and if I'm just killing time the four arrow keys on my keyboard are good enough for controls Razz

Gamestop is American store and if I remember correctly FlatOut always came out in Europe a lot earlier.

Flatout games are fun but after a while it get tiring.
the game really need to be fleshed out.
make a mode which is like stunt car racing. pepper each multiplayer map with lots of stunt jumps.
it really needs to gear up to keep my interest.
and i'm afraid that ultimate carnage is more a patch with new maps, rather a sequel or even expansion that introduce new gameplay.
i'll keep a half eye on it though.

You're wrong, it does not contan any new tracks (maps) Sad . I have Ultimate Carnage on my X360 and it's a big disappointment. They just upgraded the visuals so don't expect a new expirience, it's really Flatout 2.5, nothing more.

thats what i figured out. the game studio is real smal, even though they did great with fo1 and fo2. the lack of budget shows up in the scarcity of new maps etc.
in my programmer view in such budget constraints, they can take the same maps but add stunt objects like jump ramps or somthing. offer a varied gameplay. that dont require much of art, they already have the block pieces done. simple changes can tremendously impact fun and gameplay. that can increase game replay lots more than making a new map that will get old soon enough like others.

Wait a sec, is there really nothing new except graphics? That wouldn't count even for 2.5, heck that would be same as if crytek would release Farcry with HDR upgrade for full price.

They are just preparing a new copy protection that will fuck our computers up! Laughing Maybe they should work on some better anti-cheat engine while they are at it.

Squirrely: Now come on y'all. We can't waste time arguing. There could still be survivors out there. We need to hunt them down, and kill them.
Beary: How about we kill them, and then rape their bodies so we can use their blood as lubricant.

Aside from the fact that version 5 of starforce has already been available for a while and used in a few Russian (Or perhaps it would be better to say Eastern-European) titles.
(Seems there's not many other countries where it's used, guess it's not popular anymore.)
