I'm having problems getting xdvdmulleter to read this iso (ptc-turok). It is saying 'iso with the same key has already been added'
I'm not risking this in my machine, I've checked every game I now own with mulleter and still no ban hammer. not worth the risk imo!
anyone else confirm this?

pretty unimpresed with the demo. Anything in the full game to change that impression?

I enjoyed the nintendo version 10 years ago mostly because the extreme gore EAR shot 
You think this can't go wrong... you have guns,blood,dino's ............. but the gameplay is really 1998.

Here are my first impressions after playing for about an hour. Its not complete crap like some people have said and its certainly no AAA title. Id rate the game with about 7/10 which Id say is a fairly average score. I never played the demo and I dont know which part of the game the demo was but I have no framerate problems so far. I like the melee combat when the smaller dinosaurs pounce and being knocked over by the larger species when they charge at you is kinda cool too. The AI is pretty lame at times but the human enemies and dinosaurs fight each other which is quite enterntaining to watch! Havent really used many weapons but they are ok. The bow is fun for sniping! I recall previous Turok games having a pretty devastating arsenal so hopefully there will be some pretty awesome weapons by the end of the game! I have to say the explosions from grenades and volatile barrels is disappointing and its not the best use of the Unreal engine but visually the game looks quite good. Not one Id buy but I think its worth a leech if you have played everything other game lately.

I never pay any attention to censors and make up my own mind what my son watches/plays.. so quick question (because i'm not gonna get time to play it myself and i trust you guys more than some out of touch misguided censor) is this suitable for a dinosaur mad 8 yr old boy? or far to bloody and scary?

here's my feeling after the first level (one hour or so) :
It's very bad looking.
The first level takes place in jungle, covered with ugly green textures and crap level design, reminds me of tomb raider 1 jungle.
Characters models are ok, dinos too, but landscape etc ...
It's seriously lacking dynamic lighting or something, dunno how to describe what's wrong in the design, but it hasn't a true next gen gfx flavour.
Enemy Ai is pure crap. Sometimes they walk 1 meter next to you and don't see you.
Scripts are crappy too imo, no surprise, no epic feeling in battle, far far away from cod4.
Maybe it gets better after a few levels, but the begining of the second level(in a base against humans soldiers) made me switch off my box and go to sleep.
As for cool things, like mentionned above, the dinos' quick time events when they jump on you are fun, as is the blur when a big one charges you.

tomb raider 1 didnt have a jungle, did it? crap comparison

or the ones who dont use copies online but on a seperate OFFLINE profile, like i have done since the beginning. still on xtreme 5.2 and not banned. Common sense really, okay its nice to be able to play copies online, but i buy the games i want to play online.
