Interesting how all bugs go away when original EXE is used.

I just sold the game a week ago to my friend that just got a 360..
Then i felt the fingers tingling, and looked at all the DLC i bought. And remembered that i never tried the Sagaris or Challenge Stradale.
WHAT THE HECK, i said and went out and bought it for myself (again) from the used-bin
And now when ive gotten into the unique (and honestly somewhat awkward) feel of the game, i remember why my savegame says i spent 88 hours on the roads.. Its just insanely good, this game
I mean you can have all of the Forza 2's and Grand Turismo's, but then you pick up TDU again and listen to the COMPLETELY INDIVIDUAL UNIQUE sounds each car makes, and everything else fades away..
I dont care about forza's super amazing tire physics, i dont care about pgr's weather, i dont care about anything other than hearing the Zonda engine hiss like a.. something..
Play Forza 2 or PGR4, try the Zonda and listen to the sound.
Then do the same in TDU, its completely different, and sounds like the real thing.
In Forza 2 it sounds like a overly blended mixture of sounds, due to how the system works there, and in PGR4 it sounds overly clamped. None of the supercharger hiss, none of the feel, you cant hear the same notes you can in TDU when letting go of the throttle.
I prefer to actually hear how a car sounds irl, how unique it is. Rather than to hear a slight "pffffff" when i install a turbo. Its cool, but auto-mixing sound systems like that never ever give the same sense as the real hand-mixed thing.
I dont know why, but whatever the sound-devs did in TDU is working. Absolutely amazing, still unrivaled.

Just no.
P.S. Yes, I'm a troll. Whatever. I don't know if TDU is something really other on the X360, but on the PC, especially after the patch, the sound has been nothing more than mediocre. I've had other racing games give me a much better, much more spine-tingling feeling of sound when I turned up the volume to the famous risk-an-eviction level. Not that PC users have much else to compare Zonda sounds that you keep mentioning, other than NFS Pro Street.

Im talking about the 360 version.
Havent you learned that the PC versions of every single multiplatform game always suck? Its been 2 years now, you should have picked up on that now
Virtua Tennis 3, great on the 360/ps3, horribly buggy and shitty on the PC
Same with Oblivion (initially, it was unplayable on the pc, now its great tough, years later, acceptable?).
Top Spin 2
Test Drive Unlimited
Rainbow Six Vegas
NFS Pro Street
NFS Most Wanted
Every single EA Sports games
as in FIFA 07
and FIFA 08
Halo (lol)
Halo 2 (lol again =P)
Frontlines Fuel of War (judging from the demos)
I could go on and on.. All of the above games may or may not be fun or good, but they are miles better on the consoles, less bugs, less bullshit.
The exception is RTS games. Its the opposite there, amazing on the PC, horrible on consoles, no matter what stupid control schemes they make up.
I'd love it if all those multiplatform games were BEST on the pc, less games to buy, but the fact is that they all suck on the pc

Leftos admitted in his post, that PC gamers are in a disadvantage regarding racing games and that he is making a comparison based on the PC platform (not strange since this is the PC section). So take a chill-pill everyone.
P.S.: Nice to see Mortibus admitting to "bashing pc section", oops !

All the car sounds ingame are wrong...
The Lambo's are alright but the Saleen S7 sounds like a Electric Golf Cart...
Check the real sound out on Youtube and hear the difference...
Shame the Sound manager was a moron and made up sounds for the cars instead of recording the real sounds... What a let down...
Owell...

He was going on about the "hacked" part, us PC users getting them for free.
