Maybe igromania should learn to write proper English first?

Just a suggestion...

And so shout you.
Anyways i just got it for xbox, and i think its nothing to write home about. The best part of the game for me was scaling the city, platforming, and planning your attacks. The combat was pretty shitty IMO, and felt like a chore when i had to fight, so i tried to use sneaky attacks as much as possible. Assassination missions are fun, once you get there. Gathering information might be realistic but sitting on a bench listening for chatter is not my idea of fun. Later i just stopped doing any missions and ran around the city killing civilians and making guards chase me, which i found to be more fun than most of the missions.

I can't find that piece of news anywhere and sites like IGN. Gamerankings etc. still say it'll come out in March.

Are you sure of your claim?

I don't care what anyone says I really enjoy this game, I'm still playing it now even.

If you explore the combat system you'll actually find theres alot of depth there. It's just a shame most people don't bother because the standard counter is so effective, even if it can take a few repetitions to kill the tougher guards. Just today I discovered a new move, whereby you counter a low heavy swing at the end of it's extension, you punch them in the stomach and then if you time another button press right you break their legs. Takes out even the best guards in one.

The thing is you're never told about this apart from a vague random hint during one of the loading screens.

If the PC version has difficulty levels i'll probably play through it again. The major problem in my opinion is that in most situations the combat is too easy, I just got the achievement for killing 25 guards in a single fight. It's meant to be a goddamn stealth game you shouldn't able to do that!

How's the controls with the triggers work out? I'm STILL curious how they plan on doing that with the PC. This may be the first and only UBI game I ever look forward to playing.

It takes a while to get used to, but after some time it becomes second nature. The controls allow you to achieve almost anything you would expect given your characters abilities.

At first I felt like the auto jumping cheapened the game somehow, but it actually just gives you more freedom. When you don't have to worry about timing your jump you can concern yourself with more important things. Besides you can still manually jump by tapping the trigger/button combination.

Another thing which detracts from the game is the ridiculous amount of roof gardens/hay piles which function as invisible hiding spots. It's almost as bad as the vita chambers on Bioshock, so I just don't use them.

The game is as good as you let it be really. Some people were so disappointed it wasn't perfect that they get hung up on every flaw and don't enjoy the game. Their loss.

Story overweighs gameplay for me so as long as the story is as good as it seems I'm good to go.

Well, from what's happening with the console version, reactions are quite split. Some love it, some hate it.

Now, if the port is perfect (yeah right Laughing), it's probably going to be the same, either you love it or you hate it.

That's exactly why I asked it. I haven't been impressed at all from what I've read about it.

Laughing Yeah I know.

What can I tell, I want to like it. I was impressed with the 360 version, so hopefully something fun is left in the PC version (and it's DC, so a bit more content supposedly (bugs != content, Ubi!)).

What's the length of the X360 version, by the way? Does it offer sidequests?

Yeah, it does. 4 kinds, which makes the whole thing kind of repetive the fifth time.

Is it that bad? How long does it take until graphics, gameplay and story become boring? Can I at least have a few hours of joy? Razz

killing some mini bosses, scouting countless of areas and doing the same mini missions over and over. But its ok for the first areas in the 3 cities. After doing that in the 3 cities a new part of each city gets unlocked. Another bunch of towers to climb and countless people to save again. I quit after realizing this was going to happen AGAIN after doing those newly unlocked areas of the cities.

Graphics is fucking good! Love it, but its not enough to keep me playing a game like this.
