Taking a few drinks during the hangover gives you a decent feeling. I usually don't get drunk again or anything like it. Unless you're a driver, cop, machine operator etc.

you should have drunk a lot of water, but now you should drink all sorts of vitamins, magnesium... Or drink alcohol

I feel a bit better now. Drank a lot of water, got some caffeine, ate a greasy meal.

Oddly enough, and this really works, I've tried it myself!
Drink responsibly, learn your limits.
Read not to contradict and confute, nor to believe and take for granted, but to weigh and consider.

Don't drink anymore. Fake a stomach flu and go home amd sleep it off and don't do it again. You can do that a couple of times a yr but not that much more before people will start to think you can't do your job anymore. |
I work 1 weekend day a week usually... I'm hungover on those days. I am the supervisor though on weekends, lawl.

One day a week, what do you do? Student? if you don't mind me asking.
I never enjoyed working retail when I was hung.
#1. I felt like shit
#2 I looked like shit, (deep dark circles around the eye and bad skin tone) &
#3 I gave off that 'leave me alone' vibe
I am sure I had that stinky hung over breath too.

I am glad those days are long over for me! Doing what I do though, that wouldn't be
even remotely tolerable.

I prefer to think of it as leading a good way of life.
My life is by far not perfect, or rosie, or what ever you want to call it.
I have had quite a few ups and downs, but I don't let it stop me from
getting what I need done.

Well, I certainly wouldn't lose my job for being hungover as i was out with the Boss until bar time. Although, i can't call in or fake the flu because.... I was out with my boss until bar time.
Just had to tough it out, it wasn't that bad after 2:00PM prior to that though i think i was still pretty buzzed.

simplest way to beat a hangover...get a large coffee, pour half of it out, fill half of it with bailey's or whisky, suck it back and in 15 mins your fine.
If you go with the whiskey, I'd go with tea and whiskey, not coffee. Coffee and whiskey smell to strong. Tea and whiskey dont tho.
But if you dont want anyone knowing your drinking, drink the bailey's and coffee. Been doing that for years during the winter and I gotta open up the shop at 5:30am-6am and its -25C out. Two extra large coffee's, half full with bailey's Wakes you up, keeps you warm, keeps you happy till break and or lunch

The thing that works for me is (and I've tried it this evening ): first about 0,5 -1 l of water, then aspirin (they say that it doesn't really help, but it works for me every time), then if you have magnesium in tablets (the one you put in water), and if possible some mixture of vitamins, especially vitamin C (the reason why here people after new years eve eat http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sarma_(food) )
