i expected it to be the usual kiddy shit, but the mix of cute characters from my childhood and jason lee makes it quite watchable, occasionally cute, and for the most part, pretty funny. the negatives kinda drag it down a bit, such as some OVERLY stupid kiddy moments and some horrible music in the second half of the movie, but yeah... the good outweighed the bad for me, and i didnt hate it... its definately better than most movies of its type. sure fuckin beats garfield.

The Hunted - 8/10 Saw it again after a long time. Lambert is his usual stiff/hammy self but baggy-pants ninja-guy is awesome. And the fight in the train is nice.

I just watched this today and loved it. It's a slow movie but so worth it. Pitt and Casey Affleck give great performances. 9/10

Saw 4 : 6,5/10 ... a watchable movie with an abundant dose of splatter Magorium etc etc : 5,5/10 ... too much fable-like for my tastes, but a very good film for the children There are only 10 kinds of people : those that understand binaries and those that don't.

30 days of night 7/10 once again i was lied too by the trailer... made it seem like it was going to be an action film, but it was more of a thriller really... i was able to put aside any bias from being LIED too (), so i viewed it and graded it as the thriller it was, and it was pretty good, i liked it... i could happily put aside a lot of the silly crap that occured and the bullshit sequences etc, and just take it for what it was... a thriller based on a graphic novel... well worth the watch.

beowulf 7/10 i dunno.. i think like most people i wanted MORE. not saying it wasnt good, i mean the cgi is simply the best thing currently out... never expected americans could top the japs but they did it, this is visually the greatest cgi film ever made... and action, it had some great action sequences... story wise, there was nothing i could fault, it was definately an interesting tale... but i dunno, i just get this 'coulda...shoulda... been greater' feel about it... more action perhaps? more adventure rather than the entire story taking place within pretty much THREE locations? either way, really good movie.
