Why?? usenet is 1/4th the price, retention is almost as long and I dont mind sometimes having to get a few pars to save that much money. Also they posted by the way.

I'm just waiting a bit to see if this release gives people bans before I try it. I'm cautious like that. So far the only scene releases I've gone for either have their CRC data confirmed to be ok or they've been tested by enough of the community that I feel safe in using them and not be banned from live.

I hope you are aware that bans doesnt come right away. M$ gather informations on users for months than one day they take the Ban Hammer out. So you might already be on the list and you dont even know it. And no one knows how exactly they target users.

Have any of you succesfully burned the NTSC version of this succesfully? I have wasted 3 verbs on this so far... and that's using the dvd file fix that was released. If you burned it succesfully, how did you do so and what did u use?
Burned Burnout Paradise City wth no problems.

30 hours in and I'm on disc three. Great game so far, only gets better.
Love the experience system, so you can't out level your future encounters. However, grinding is still needed because of skill learnings, god i wish they let you link one skill from each mortal at the same time.
and I think everything is too easy except some bosses. For example, most of the treasures are so particular, unlike old school FF where the treasures are blended into the background. And the treasure hunting tips even mark the treasure on the mini map for you, now that's too easy comparing to the good ol' FF9 chocobo treasure digging.
One big bummer though, the voice actors(both eng and japanese) are kind of disappointing. Reminds me of the English version of Yuna in FF10.
And gamble spell is way to go, way too overpowered lol.
I don't know.

Those are secret bosses, most are accessible after you get the White Boa(sp?)

I think this game is great but the loading times are extremely annoying, especially after a while.
I have a concern after reading molyneux commenting about the core system making it harder to make fable 2 that the long loading times may be a result of 360 games having to be programmed not to rely on the hard-disk..

It's a great game with a few minor cons. I will start with the cons.
First, the load time was horrible. And in fact, the scene viewing as you enter a battle is almost as annoying as the load time. Second, the bosses are way harder than the regular encounters. If you're playing without a guide, you're probably going to wipe at least once. Now it's fun to fight hard bosses, but in this game, the hardest part of a boss is preparation for such boss. You need to spend quite some time before each boss to equip the right skills and yada yada. The story is at "ok" level. Not too impressive. So are the voice acting and the music. I can feel the music is very FF'ish, but none really stood out.
Now I'm 55 hours in and done with all the side quests. I'll give a few tips for people who want to pursue side quests.
Beginning of Disc 4, go straight to Gongora's secret cave and level your characters to 49. It may take a while, but it'll be totally worth it. remember to equip anti-petrify. It also has the item to unlock second class for the backyard.
Then finish all challenges of backyard you can get(including all bonus objectives) to get lots of slot seeds.
Continue with the story and when you are on white boa, go to Numura Atoll and kill the holy beast for slot +10 accessory. now IMPORTANT, Numura Atoll is the best place to level your skills. The silver kelelons there give 16 SP each if you have the double SP skill, they usually come in compare. So killing them with a ground spell before they flee can guarantee you 32 SP. Most skills can be learned within 2 rounds.
With all your characters around 49 and many skill slots, do whatever you want. It's hard to die at this point. You'll find most of the optional bosses trivial even with little or no prep work. Save your last optional quest for temple of enlightenment, it's long and retarded. So brace yourself for it. When you finally beat the boss in the temple, you shouldn't feel relived because you have to back track all the way out. It was painful.
Hope this helps, oh and Seth plus 4 caster all the way at the end. Casters with double cast and 3 casting-time enhancements AND level 8 spells = gg.
