Pretty sure the second one has been fixed in a patch.. however there are just FARRRR to many options to play this game in french.. its just amazing going throu it all thou and seeing how complex it all is |
Trust me, there are way more bugs than that. First off, once you actually manage to sign a trade contract with another nation, it doesn't do anything. You never make any money, no matter how much you sell. Same thing goes for pretty much everything that has to do with the economy. Nothing has any effect. If you lower the interest rate, it should make your economy grow faster, but it doesn't. If you subsidize an industry, it should make that industry grow, but it doesn't. I played as Saudi Arabia once and tried to get a robotics industry going, so i put €5 billion in subsidies into it. Then i waited for several months, but i didn't see any change what so ever. You'd think that if a country poured €5 billion into an industry, it would have an effect, but alas, no. Then there are tons of numerical bugs. Different numbers and statistics will sometimes go crazy. Like for example, there's a column of statistics in one windows that shows how large of a percentage a certain sector makes up of your economy. Obviously, the highest it can go is 100%. No sector can make up more than 100% of your economy. Yet, sometimes, certain sectors will show abnormally high values, like 2344243% or something like that. The same thing happens for other numbers and statistics in the game. So it's basically bugged as fuck. All because those shitfags at mindscape had to release the game right before the French election, to cash in on the buzz surrounding it, even though the game was obviously only in the alpha stage. I just hope the next patch and/or the English version fix all the bugs so i can fucking play it.

How do you know that this already hasn't been fixed?
besides as far as my knowledge goes into building a game there is one team that takes care of the localization, one team that takes care of the graphics etc. but i'm not sure.
But as i said they might be done with the patches etc and are going for the languages now.

I don't understand why you are so excited by this game. In France it's out since almost a year, and patchs can't make this bad game a good one. It's very VERY buggy and most of the parameters are just here to make illusion.

They said that the game will get released when near the Russian and Spanish elections, I believe the Spanish election is in the end/middle of April.
