I thought the RC units looked pretty neat in this but based on all the comments i've seen -- i think i am going to pass.

huh? all I've seen here is people bitching about the graphics and recommended specs containing a dual core cpu.
doesn't mean much to be honest.

Yes, it's EDuke32, like someone else said. Sucks. Mouse look is very odd, can't put my finger on exactly what, but there's something wrong with it.

lol so the 360 version is 6.05gb with realtime? cutscenes and the pc version is 10gb with 4gb of video cutscenes? at a guess it will be a combination of the two seeing as though every single pc port has much better textures than its console original

Dude, I understood you clearly, I'm just saying it's not true, especially with games like Stranglehold and Blacksite, that had awful textures, but were 12GB each. BioShock some washed out textures, so did MoHA and GoW, nothing near Crysis textures for example, which was made specifically for PC.

bioshock certainly has better textures on pc, i never played stranglehold/blacksite but i could make an educated guess that the textures were better, moha and gow i did play and 100% had improved textures on the pc and we better not mention crysis as pc gamers seem to crave higher quality looking games yet when they perform like they should they whine like crazy

I wonder if the extra size is due to the game being multilanguage?

From what I've read the cutscenes in the campaign are mostly shown via a reporter and if they translated what he/she said in for example four languages then they would need four different videos. (Probably that BIK format as usual, I'll just rip out the extra crap after installation is finsihed, will be fun to see how much it reduces the filesize.)

Ah well 10GB isn't much of a problem when you have a fast connection but for a game it's quite large.

The bigger the game, the more load of bullshit it carries. Remember that shit based on John Woo films? 12 GB of crap. Tetris, on the contrary, was a few KB and it still rocks Wink
