I was wondering how to tell if overclocked ram was better because my old ram was Corsair TWIN2X1024A-6400 DDR2-800 1GB Kit 5-5-5-12 at $167.48 but my new ram is Corsair TWIN2X2048-6400C5DHX XMS DDR2-800 2GB Kit (I was told/read somewhere 5-5-5-18 ) at $104.50, so I'm assuming that the lower the numbers the better the overclocking? (I'm new to this overclocking business, my friend keeps saying ram is ram, it doesn't matter about the data transfer rate only the amount, but I'd rather a good rig everywhere, no leaks to complain about)

I just need to know if 4-4-4-12 is better/higher than 5-5-5-12, I'm not really looking to manually overclock yet, I'll thank about manually doing it when I/if I get an Intel, but thanks for the link, it should help in future.
EDIT: Nevermind, that link says it all, thanks CaptainCox
