Current Procyon and Reloaded releases should be NUKED already, I don't know who decides this but when a game is released and its not labeled "beta" or "preview" even though that's what this is then what is the scene doing?
This release has 0kb manuals for all other languages after installing even though files are there and links. Further, jerusalem level is missing in this release. cough hello NUKE? This is not retail thanks.

Wasnt this game supposed to run better with dx10? cause i dont see any remarkable diference in performance... maybe retail will? lol |
Using the D3D10 render path usually indicates more intesive shaders added in, thus causing a degradation in performance, and a slight increase in the accuracy of visuals. It does not make performance better.
That said, as with every other DX10 capable game on the market (Besides LOTRO) using the D3D10 executable gives a massive performance hit while offering little in terms of visual enhancement.

Holy Fucking Shit.
You sir. I applaud you. Not because you asked a remarkably stupid question, but because your avatar fucking rules.
Mods Make this person an honory VIP. His avatar fucking rules.
It's the character from that clay-animation PC game that came out a million years ago. I neverhood I think it was.

The amount of bitching on this topic would bring Chuck Norris down to tears, jesus lighten up and wait for a new release or just wait.
Great game, definitely worth buying I won't mind the repetitiveness because it's fun to just run and jump and to stuff, graphics are great and well optimized, even the sci-fi part isn't corny as some people would led you to believe, seems realistic enough to me.
I fiddled with the ini file because I wanted to improve the graphics some more and now I can't get back into the game, I just see a white screen instead of the menu, my greed got the better of me.

tbh this HAS to be have been a deliberate leak, i know ubisoft are wankers an all but to retail a game that crashes like this (more times than an amstrad) just means if the real retail is like this that ubisoft have taken over EAs position of releasing shite and not giving a flying fuck ....incidently before the n00bs with 2-30 posts start to try an make themselves look witty, i HAVE this game preordered from game.co.uk....
when there is no more room in hell, the D34D will walk the earth

Code: | PCGH: When porting for the PC have you thought about integrating support for DirectX 10 into the engine? Will there be a version of Assassin's Creed that will utilize the new Vista API?
Charles Beauchemin: Yes, Assassin's Creed supports DX10 as well as DX9.
PCGH: What are the technical advantages of that API?
Charles Beauchemin: DirectX 10 enables us to make fewer calls to the API to perform the same actions. Therefore, it will be possible for the drivers to make optimizations making the game faster without any change to the game engine. Since most of the DX10 drivers are still young, we can expect a lot of gain to come from the optimization of these drivers.
PCGH: Do you use advanced features of Direct X 10/Shader Model 4 like Geometry Shader, Virtual Texture Management etc.? Can you please give examples how they are utilized? In what way do these features improve or simplify the rendering process?
Charles Beauchemin: No. Most of the porting to DX10 involves optimizations of the existing calls, without any new content.
PCGH: Will the DX 10 visualization differ substantially from the graphics that are rendered with DX 9 hardware? What are the visuals that can only be rendered with shader model 4 hardware? Can you supply us with a visual proof via screenshot too?
Charles Beauchemin: No new content has been added to the DX10 version.
PCGH: How much of a performance hit will the improved optics of DX 10 incur? With all details maxed out is a typical first gen DX 10 card already running at its limits?
Charles Beauchemin: No performance hit occurs, since no improved optics are implemented. However, when running on Vista, DirectX 10 version speed will be much faster than its DirectX 9 counterpart (also running on Vista) |

1. Does the game work?
YES. The game works. It crashes around 1st, 2nd levels. But after you get back into it from your saved location it is fine.
2. Does it crash right on Jerusalem?
YES. Right before you enter Jerusalem, on horse, foot, anything, it crashes to the desktop, no matter what you do.
3. Is there a Crack Fix out that fixes it yet?
NO. There is no Official 100% guaranteed working fix yet to this. It should be out soon if they find the problem.
4. There are many crackfix’s right now….Whats up?
Those are all the same exact Reloaded Fixed EXE Files. Eaither that, or they are all FAKE. There is currently NO WAY of getting into Jerusalem as of this moment.
5. Is the game awesome?
Yeah, its not too bad.
Worth the DL?
Definitely, if it did not crash.
THIS IS NOT A RETAIL VERSION, THIS IS A PRE-GOLD VERSION
“Not only the header of DataPC_Jerusalem.forge is missing the whole file seems to be completely random data. In the other .forge files you can see readabel text and some parts are only zeros, in DataPC_Jerusalem.forge there is nothing like that. So it won’t work with any crackfix etc. We need a new DataPC_Jerusalem.forge.”
” To those who say this is Press Copy, you are fu(ktards.
When Procyon got the source, 1 render file was obviously corrupt or became corrupted. The same corrupt file was supplied by Procyon to Reloaded. Either no group noticed the corruption or they let it go out with the bug, thinking they’d rels early for points and then be able to fix from resupply.
Problem is, the corrupt file is also having the effect of making the game unstable. And no resupply has yet arrived.
You can bet your bo11ocks that Vitality wont issue a crackfix, cos there is nothing to be fixed.
What will happen is a proper will come of size around 1GB which will be the scimitar.Jerusalem.forge replacement and possibly another corrupt file.
In meantime, you can collect flags. “

Haha fake retail that's funny. I wanna know two things:
1. Game was ultra smooth since the beginning and I was happy until I left the first "town" to get in the "kingdom" (place with horse). FPS dropped like by half. What is the first thing I should try to lower to keep good graphics and gaining FPS.... shadows?
2. Is there any way to map the LT/RT button from a 360gamepad to the run/target action in game? They seem to need a "button" and not a "axis", but on the real 360 it was these button who were used.
Didn't try to enter jerusalem yet but I guess I won't bother..

You summed it very well up. It's a real pitty, but hey, it's still 1 month to release. As you can see on the imagefile, all manuals except the english one are missing too. This is deffinatly not retail.
Just wait and fight against some crusaders.
