Either way, he's still a cockstain and a blight on the world. As I said on another forum;

Oh don't get me started. Sure Resi4 on the PC is great once it's modded to hell and back (and I'm talking 4GB+ of mods, just to draw level with the PS2 version... which is a huge barrel of monkey spunk anyway) but that's not to excuse Ubisoft's history of destroying every port they've ever done.

The certs on any number of the install/game executables are allready watermarks. It's not hard to beleive that they could be more specifically watermarked for at least each country the discs went too.

its not Ubisoft fault here , they saved this game by releasing the pixel shader patch , the blame should get SourceNext , its was they crappy port - they where the developers of this crappy port using the PS2 version DUH...
and the only good version of RES 4 is the fan re-edition RES4+ with Hq textures , pixel shader 3 effects and Hq movies takes 9.2 gig
one thing that bugs me here is why they bitch so much , its like a 6gig big demo with 2 cities that shows the work in progress on the PC port ...
People still don't get it that the PC version is named Assassin's Creed : Directors Cut , and this demo is called Assassin's Creed vr.1.00

That "dev" sounds like an immature nforce poster. Cursing and pissing off potential buyers. Reading his posts diminished any desire i had for actually buying the game since some of the money will go to that prick.
Edit: Blue, what is that mod are you talking about for RE4 (official name). I really loved it on PC even if it was a bad port, and replayed it many times.

it was called "RES4+"got if from 2rentz , demonoid to be precise when this site existed , this version looked a hell lot better then the Ubi version that gave only PS2.0 , if you are interested in the HD quality movies only mod then go here http://hdpatch.filetap.com/

Res4+ is basically the same Ubi Resi4, just with the 1.1 (texture and shader) patch preapplied, along with the various mods that made the game better -- ie; HQ movies, better soundpacks and also that hideously-poor mouse patch. The same results could be obtained manually by following the link I posted, which is linking to the current, updated, list of mods for RE4.

Has anyone found a good sollution to show the FPS? With that static black bar fraps shows the FPS over FPS so i cannot see it very good. Is there a other FPS command or something?
