You aren't enjoying the game anymore then if you were to just use a standard resolution on your monitor. You just changed to a non-standard 16:9 resolution. You aren't seeing anything more, or anything different. |
I know...but the black bars are gone. That's what counts. Can't fucking stand them heh.

Strange. You have a 5:4 or a 4:3 monitor? In 5:4 the black lines should be bigger.
It's better mouse or joypad for this game?

Yes this isn't the final version.
In some german game magazine they said the black bars will be removed in the final version of the game and since this is still "blackbarred" it's not even final.

Also, what do people mean with Black Bars? I have heard many people talk about it but dont know what that means. Is that on Vista or something? Glitch? Or what are they?

Black Bars as in Widescreen...you know like when you watch a Wide Screen Movie on a normal TV, you have black bars top and bottom

Oh ok, gotcha. I was running the game at 1680 by 1050, and didn't see anything =/ Or does that happen on Vista, cuz im Running on XP.

It would happen if you weren't running at a wide screen resolution
800x600
1024x768
1280x1024
1600x1200
Although if you try to run those res's on your screen i think it will just try to stretch it anyways. The issue would only occur for people that do not have wide screen

Get a widescreen monitor and there will be no bars or very little bars. There is AA option.

Give in and buy widescreen monitor, it's good for all those movies you download -_- Also, yes, russian have exactly same widescreen resolution with dem bars.

16:10 is widescreen. You are suggesting that we go out and buy a 16:9 monitor which is only good for movie watching. I can't even imagine how painful it would be to use a 16:9 monitor for anything else. 16:10 is allready fairly height limited, 16:9 even more so.

Wrong. Black Borders=PAL
Just select a 16:9 resolution and there won't be any borders.
f.e. 1280x720. Looks good on widescreen monitors, stretched on 4:3 monitors.
