Looking for recommendations on decent driving sim games. I am interested in driving a lot of the classic muscle cars (as well as perhaps some present day cars too). Needs to have a good career mode, decent physics engine, car damage, solid AI, and good graphics...

Anything that might fit the bill?

Thanks for any input.

Live for speed is the best driving sim out there, it doesn't really meet all of your criteria though Very Happy It has a good physics engine, you can wreck your car, but not like int Forza2 or something, you can damage the clutch by shifting crappily. The graphics aren't really good and the AI is ok I guess, no career mode. It's really made for online play.

Off the top of my head, Richard Burns Rally, GTR2 and rFactor. There are many more but they are less robust, older or more specialised in areas of interest. These three games above should be more than enough to at the very least whet the appetite however.

Make sure you have a force feedback wheel to fully enjoy them (at least in singleplayer - less necessary for multiplayer, which is where you'll spend most of your time with rFactor).

RBR and GTR2 are my personal favourites and provided you overcome the learning curves associated with each you'll find a lot to enjoy.

I don't like driving sims, but I remember I had some fun with the good old Quarantine II (you'd define it as outdated by today's standards, though).
