A random crash, just reload it should work.

Maybe the graphics are better, which may explain my old rig badly reacting to it, though there the 'Button 1' is almost 90% of the time fixed for me. It just locks if I press it for one second, and have always to click it again, which just makes combat unbearable, so it's a no-go for me.
is that the high profile button? sounds like you enabled high profile toggle in the options...

thanks for the instructions,
but that is the only point I do not understand.... why should I undo the whole process after visiting Jerusalem?!?! Why cant I leave it as it is after the patching? Confused

Are the other areas then corrupted or what is the reason?

So it's confirmed that this patch let you play jerusalem and end the game?
I fear that there are other corrupted levels beyond jerusalem.

But you have to be outside Jerusalem in order to enter Jerusalem and the comp puts you right in the middle of the map so it's quite a ride, so what do they mean 'it doesn't work outside of Jerusalem' you have to be outside in order to go inside.

I just bought a X360 pad... actually it's much easier to play this game... keyboard & mouse isn't so intuitive as the pad... when it says to press the red button to perform some action you don't have to worry about MB1 or MB2 you just press the button of the right color and voila : )

that's pretty fucked up that all those console ports are all designed for the 360 pad, (cf. Kane & Lynch).

You know I was actually thinking of buying an Xbox 360 Controller for this game. Does everything work ok, no problems ?

I may have to take a wonder down to Eclipse Entertainment... Very Happy

And again with the 360 pad some of you are really not very bright, for the 1000-th time every game I played works with the logitceh rumblepad 2 and probably a dozen other known pc controllers including this game with which it works flawlessly, there is no game in the world that will only play with the 360 pad and no other.

Mythril : no problemo with the x360 pad indeed...

madmax : sure you can use ANY pad... BUT most games are designed for the X360 pad so it's more convenient!

I didn't own a gamepad for PC, so i might as well acquire the most generic one even though it's not easy to shell out the cash for Bill G... Then now that him & melissa are helping out the poor kids in africa it's ok : )

Bioshock, Juiced, Kane and Lynch (i think) and there are more games incompatible with other gamepads...

Now go read the readme.txt of the game. It states that vibration only works with the 360 pad.

Who in their right mind would play Bioshock a fps with a gamepad when you have keyboard&mouse why exactly do you own a pc anyway just buy a console then. Of course I haven't tried it but I am pretty sure that bioshock would work with mine and other gamepads even if it requires 'complicated hacking' for some like editing the ini file, all of it is just microsoft propaganda bullshit 'it will only work with our shitty little controller' and people buy it apparently.

wheres the propaganda? both pads cost 28 euros and both are great depends which shape you prefer i guess, the 360 pad just has the advantage of games coming preconfigured for it and it has nice analog triggers and yes there are games that only work properly with the 360 pad

Well, the option suddenly appeared when i stuck in my controllers... Not that i play it with the pad in FPS-games... And btw it DOESNT work with the Logitech in some newer games... Cause i also got the dual shock of those...

Thanks for your input ! I take it I can just buy any old 360 controller and just plug it into the USB port ? Is there drivers for it, if so where do I leech um from ?

Thanks again for your help Smile

i think you need the "hybrid" X360 pad that works for both Windows AND x360... not just any x360 pad... this one had a windows logo on it.

Like I said you can make every game on the pc work with a gamepad even if that game offers no gamepad support at all or if it simply doesn't recognize your controller, if need be (still haven't been there because the games I played offered 100% support for my gamepad) you can use xpadder http://xpadder.com it even supports force feedback.

And dude dual shock is old so it wouldn't surprise me if some new games don't support it.

Yeah, sorry for the confusion - I meant 'High Profile'. It works just fine with the english version, though that option is missing in the russian version at all.

This game uses the 169.21 drivers for Nvidia cards if you don't have those your game will crash , the same problem was in Time Shift that crashed your Windows into BlueScreen if you didn't had new drivers .

I have the 169.21 driver and it's still crashing for me.

With the 174.12 and the 174.20 I never had a single crash, of course up to Jerusalem.
