To be honest, imo pc gaming is just not as fun as in the 360.

Before I buy my 360 I was always downloading every game that would come out for the pc
in the hope of that would be the game that would put me back in the gaming addiction Smile

I was wrong, it wasn´t the games, it was the platform... I tried rainbow six and gears of war in the pc, and they got old after one or two missions.
In the 360 I just couldn´t stop playing them, until I ended them.

I have been always in system wars arguing that pc is by far the best platform, but I was wrong Sad
360 is the way to go! I am addicted again, when I thought that maybe the age of gaming addiction had long passed Smile

EDIT:What an happy ending! Muahahahah

I just which I could get used to the fracking 360 controller...then I would probably join in slagging off the PC Wink But there are games that will never hit the console arena, such as the Total War series. One reason I still play both platforms.

I'm experiencing the same thing (moving from PC gaming to XBOX360) . Mass effect and Lost odyssey have been the main reasons for this. However, i miss the detailed textures (from my 8800gtx) when i see the washed ones from the 360 Sad, isn't it the same for u ?

That's cos there's nothing better on the 360.
PC has so many good games that crappy games like GoW aren't that good. Put it on the 360 though & all the console kiddies think it's amazing...

Well when GoW came out it was amazing for its time, you pc fanbois got it much later when the UE3 Engine already made its debut, so you would say that Rolling Eyes

I think this kind of attitude of fanatism is wrong. Xbox isn't better then pc or reverse. It all comes down to people taste. Sure there are some good games for xbox. One of the main reason i bought a xbox was cause i liked Burnout. But if you like strategy games then xbox isn't for you.

You can have a fight over the net where debate whetere xbox is better or worse. But at the end of the day it all comes down to each individual persons taste. Not a topic with over 30 pages.

I think i am just getting old... or something. I just can't really get into gaming at all any more like I used to. It has been an extremely long time since ANYTHING held my intrest for more than a few days. Sad but true... and that's regardless of the system.

As for me, all sports games are better on console and all FPS/RTS/RPG games are more enjoyable on my PC (my oppinion of course).

I only really play two genres on the PC now, Strategy and Adventure games. Otherwise I just prefer how casual it feels playing on the 360. Before this generation of consoles I usually preferred the PC for my gaming because of the huge graphical difference, now the difference is minor enough to not be an issue.

Interesting you say that as the PS3 version of GTA is supposed to be more vibrant than 360.

Anyway on-topic - I was/am a PC diehard fanatic but the 360 has curbed it significantly and now gets more of my attention. I was always mocking FPS console players, but I'm enjoying the single player FPS's more on console for some strange reason.

I have all 3 for both PC and 360, only one thats better is Rainbow Six Vegas because it was ported over like ass to pc but even then its not that bad. With a high spec PC pretty much every game is better on PC.

Xbox is fun. Xbox controller rocks in racing games, TPP games like Tomb Raider or Assassin's Creed, fighting games (which are unavailable for PC anyway), sports games.
It sucks however in First Person Shooters. And I really mean, SUCKS!.

Whatever. The point is, FPS require a mouse for precise aiming. Moving and aiming with two analog controllers is no match for WSAD and mouse.

IMO it's bullshit, I had a relatively big experience with call of duty on PC before I moved to XBOX 360 and I'm 100% HIV positive (anyone watched the latest SP? Very Happy ) that I can kick about 80% of PC call of duty gamers with my gamepad.
Of course, there's a difference but key/mouse combo is not nearly as superior as people make it out to be.

Apart from the obvious types of games that historically don't fit on PC like action and fighting games, (Without MAME), the biggest surprise for me is I've never really felt there was an equivalent to big production racing games...............

Never bought a wheel, and I know the 360 pad is compatible with the PC, but using the 360 triggers for accelerate and Brake in Forza seems perfect.......
