Sorry GTAFAN, but I gotta agree with Javlar on this one. I ran through just the main plot the first time around, but did all the side missions the second time. It's still one hell of a game.

TimeShift - 9/10

Amazing game that I have finally just finished. I really wish it didn't end, but it is still quite a lengthy game compared to most of today's 6-10 hr games...Graphics are VERY great, on par with the best of the current gen stuff, and the time-shifting element they've added into the game is found nowhere else. Top notch FPS here, highly recommended!!

The last game i've finished is BioShock.

It had an amazing story wich really took me into it.
I liked it that it was without cutscenes and you learn the story as you play.

The shooting was kinda lame, but the plasmids in combination with gunfire made it fun Smile

Score: 9/10

Another great game i completed which is worth mentioning:
Fahrenheit (Indigo Prophecy)

Short but also a great story!
Score: 9/10

Why's this topic dead? Sad

Batman: Arkham Asylum- 9/10

Great story and atmosphere, great fighting and predator system, but lame ending. Sad

Mini Ninjas- 8/10
Well, it's a kiddie game, but it plays really good, has a few characters to play with and the sneaking animation of bear is EPIC

I recently also replayed all Splinter Cell titles...

Splinter Cell: Stealth Action Redefined- 9/10, it's probably the hardest of all 4 games, and even though the graphics are now outdated, the game is still awesome

Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow - 8/10 , even though it was the first to implement multiplayer, I didn't like the story and missions in single player, and Lambert's voice was awful.

Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory- 10/10, one of the best games I've ever played, it still keeps up to this time graphically, the multiplayer community is alive (more than 100 servers playing), great story and gadgets, a must-have for any of you who love stealth games.

Splinter Cell: Double Agent- 8/10, I don't know why nobody likes this game. Sure, it has some hardware problems (when I turn on HDR on my 8800 GTS the models are stretched and like 5 meters long), but overall it's a good game IMO. I liked the choices you have to make, and the story is pretty good too.

Batman: Arkham Asylum- (2/10) - Just boring. Couldn't get into it. Demo was great.

Majesty 2- (- 1/10) - Just plain sucks. Loads of crashes.

HoN/LoL - (1/10) - Like DotA only worse. LoL is a little bit more original.

Risen- (100/10) - Superb game, flawless in every way.

Lucidity- (-10/10) - Horrible horrible game. Boring and way to easy.

Batman AA - 9/10

Took me by surprise, even though the demo kinda hinted it. Great game, a lot of details, great atmosphere, complex gameplay and very nice presentation. Best super-hero game ever (even though Wolverine was nice too, it doesn't come close).

Risen - 7.5/10

Great atmosphere, great writing and voice-acting, good enough graphics, very generic, mediocre story and gameplay that is really hard to judge. Combat system, exploration and like first half of the game seems top notch, then it becomes a pure dungeon crawler and gets repetetive and boring, without any new quests or anything else for that matter. It could also use a bit more balancing between "classes" and a sligtly bigger island. Ah. And the ending is lame. Big time.

Overall, still a nice game but after the first half i grew to expect a lot more and in the end, i was a bit dissapointed. G2 + NotR still remains the best PB can do.

And finally: Dawn of War II - 9/10

The campaign sucked me in damn hard. Good enough story, great atmosphere and the gameplay simply blows. It reminded me heavily of an old Wh40k game called Chaos Gate, only it was squad based and in real time. I think it was even better this way. I wish there were also campaigns for the other races. The only downsides i found is a slight repetitivness (esspecially in the latter half of the game) and the fact that i got to max level quite a bit before the end. Perhaps 25 would be a better cap. Other then that, one of the best strategy/tactical games i've played.

@aquma: batman is the definition of mediocre. from every point of view (gameplay, visuals, puzzles, combat, level design, enemies, everything)

Personally i see nothing mediocre in it.

Gameplay is perfectly balanced, differiates between sneaking, direct fighting, exploration and puzzles. Atmposhere fits the franchise perfectly and graphics are detailed and fit the atmosphere. Same goes for level design and enemies (boss fights esspecially) . The only thing i could agree on is the combat. Didn't dissapoint, but wasn't that great either. But other then that, the game is a pearl.

For me at least. Different people - different tastes Smile .

Batman I wanted to kill myself I had limited time and fucking intro wouldn't go away.
I ended up hating the game.

Warhammer 40k: Space Marine

Combat was fun at first but got a bit tedious towards the end. Best parts were the jump pack combat scenes. Finally got round to finishing it. The number of times that the slow finishing of animations got me killed was annoying. Only giving stars for the combat ... the rest was not worth mentioning.

2/5 stars

P.S. you might find star ratings avoid score inflation. It would be good if there was a forum insert for the 11 different star ratings. Would help out on the movie thread too. Will add to the suggestion forum.

La noire 9/10 but it's mainly an adventure game not the next gta,the faces expressions are the most impressive graphics feature ever seen in my life....so immersive so real...great job bad porting, stutters like hell but i didn't care, it's an adventure game and the action parts are very easy to complete, no need to be super smooth.

Ys Orgins tranlsated in english 7/10 , less adventure than ys 6 ,more dungeon crawler ,didn't like it so far like ys6, honestly.

Wrc2011 8/10 best rally game ever in terms of arcade/simulation, RBR its the king of simulations, Dirt of arcades, Wrc2011 it's in the middle.

Fifa 12 only Pro Clubs Online, no words to say for me, it's from the '11 edition that im totaly addicted to this mode with my club...shame for the cheaters, but its still funny and rewarding.
