My question is, has anyone not banned sent in a console with no warranty sticker? Do they just send the console back?

They repair everything. They don't care about the sticker or a receipt or if the console is banned or not. I've never heard of a case where they denied the repair.

I turn'd in my 360 to the local chipper company, those who flashed mine. They should repaired it, but couldnt. Sent it to MS. They sent the 360 to MS for like 1 month, and they havent called that my 360 is back yet.

Well I know they charge you if the Xbox is out of warranty because of the date of purchase.
I guess it's a gamble if you send it in and the warranty is obviously voided for other reasons. You certainly can't complain if they don't repair it.

well with the warranty being extended to 3 years... all consoles are under warranty right now....since they came out in November 05!!!

My nephews repair was declined. But he had the xclamp on the mobo LOL.They just sent it back saying they will not repair it because it has been tampered with.

i have a qusetion.
I play burned games with ixtreme, then if i want to play online, can i restore my original firmware back without being banned after that?
just to play on live with original (my benq) firmware?

While I don't own a 360 I've been looking at a console to buy so I have something to do when my wife hogs the PC all day... anyways back on topic...
Why not just buy two 360's sure it would be costly and more then likely at separate times but the modded one alone will no doubt save you more money then the console itself costs. Use the modded for single player games and the unmodded for multilayer games that you will purchase.

Does Xbox360 report any firmware (or mainly said: Hard- /Software changes) to live ?
I've heard, the ban comes in a result playing bad ripped kreon backup. But it could be wrong. Ive read this here: http://www.dvd-secrets.co.uk/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=66764 (last post on the page)

supposedly the ixtreme firmwares werent the cause of the recent bans.
it was down to the games again and although they were stealthed , they were 'bad' rips.
ripped using kreon firmware that had a bug that didnt always make an true 1:1 copy.
all games can be stealthed to play on the ixtreme firmwares but the bonus of the older xtreme 4.x and 5.x firmwares is that some of them can play xbox1 games on single layers
personally I always use the ixtreme and all my images are stealth and kreon checked.
i was banned on the older ixtreme firmware but after checking all my discs I found a couple that i played regularly that were bad kreon rips so i left them alone now and have not been banned since (well not so far..) |

Do you guys now about any chip that can be turned off and on in order to play offline with copies and online with originals without flashing the bios check iso´s and all the crap?

Is it neccessary to reflash to a more newer fw? Im currently using IXtrem1.3 and dont have any problems at all. Not banned from Live either.

If I am banned does this mean no way that M$ will fix a RROD, even if warranty sticker looks fine (ie bought from ebay)?
just trying to weight the options of playing online with needing to get my xbox fixed (falcon, less chance of RROD).
