Just played through the first level and i liked it. In the first level you dont have your disc yet so its all about guns, so it should only get better. If you played gears of war, you'll feel right at home. Press A you stick to cover, hold A and you run, hold LT to aim and RT to shoot, though shooting reminds me more of RE 4 since its kind of the same view, but you can still move. The first level didnt have any color AT ALL, i thought my TV became BW since there was absolutely no color, just black and shades of black. Guns feel good and powerful unlike in GOW where you had to use a whole freaking clip to take an enemy down, a hs is insta kill, though i havent fought any mutants yet, so it should get harder. Of course you dont have a health bar, health regenerates, if you get hit enough your screen starts blinking red (hmm where have i seen that before). Cant comment on graphics since again everything was so bleak i coudlnt make anything out. So if you liked GOW style of shooting, i cant see how you wont like this.

Only gets better. Got to the second level and finally got the disc. On 2nd level you cant pick up guns, since they blow up right away forcing you to use the disc and the pistol (i guess disc introduction level). I was expecting the disc to be a bit more powerful and be one hit kill, but i guess it will become more powerful later. If you hold LT and then press RB, you throw the disc, its pretty accurate and has a decent range. You can also pick up items with your disc, but i dont know if its my TV or just the game, but its kind of hard seeing items, sometimes i got to stop for a few seconds to look around for glowing items. There is also a mele attack button but so far its only been useful for slow zombies and breaking up crates, again takes quite a few strikes to down a mutan, but then you are prompted to press X for a quick and brutal way. So far im enjoying it, but i can see how it can become boring, the enemies are not very intelligent they do take cover but they usual stay in one place and perform one task, look out, empty their clip, reload, and repeate.

Because its not released until the 4th April which means that it will more than likely be released next week. This weekend if we are lucky. Certainly not today as I thought.
