Nice to see this, i know it got nuked for "from.p2p" on some Sites, but to be honest - who would give a damn when it works?

The reason was too less of an explaination to me.

Yes the release itself is real, it´s just that it got nuked for that p2p reason on some places.

Well, I installed it and played it for a short period of time: it works flawlessly (so far) Weird protection though: a mere cd key, no cracked exe whatsoever. I didn't think they still made such games (thought SF3 was the only way). However, I haven't tried any online game, but I really don't see how this release could work: the serial will prolly be blacklisted immediately. I guess some server fix will come out later. Very Happy

Wait...it's weird...it sounds JUST like the exact words I wrote on Isonews Smile bleh....

Anyway yes I tried it, it really works, but then again I don't know shit about copy protection or game cracking: maybe it was done the bad way, I don't know. The thing is that I don't see how online gaming will be possible with this release (mere cd key protection), but should that be a good reason for nuking it? I don't know...

Is there a direct-IP option for multiplayer? You might be able to do without cd-key there I'd think (hope) Shocked

Well, yeah, thats the LAN option. And although I haven't tried it yet, I think it'll work.
But as far as real internet play is concerned (with Gamespy and all), I'm really not sure.

oh well, I thought than when you created a lan session, you could just as well give your lan partner your ip and he could join from there (so, kinda like direct ip play), but I might be wrong.

Haven't tried the internet play so far, so I can't tell.

Great fun tennis game. Some few funny stuff, the Xbox logo is still attached to the net sometimes. Also, when you change something on your player it says: "Saving player, don't turn off your PC".. hehe.

I really hate that on console to PC conversions, but the worst part is that it even takes the same amount of time for it to save! Wink The worst offenders are the EA titles, on Fifa it pops up all the time when you're navigating through option menus.

btw, anyone else planning to buy the game for multiplayer?

Career mode doesn't work on my machine. I went through the whole create-your-player part, and right after the data was saved, baam, crash to desktop. Single and Tournament modes work JUST FINE, but I can't start a career. When I get back in the game after the crash and try to select the player I created, I get a "No career" msg.

Anyone experienced that?
