Noooonononoo.
The directors cut gives too much away. It is much better watching wit a little bit of "darkness" to the story. The directors cut doesn't leave much to the imagination which spoils it IMO. Plus, the soundtrack on the directors cut is slightly different + not as good either.

mr magoriums wonder emporium - 6/10
was actually much better than i expected. it also wasnt until i saw this film that i realised how much i dislike natalie portman. shes annoying and not a very good actress either. without her it coulda been a 7.5 maybe.

anyone wanna take a WILD stab in the dark as to what the theme of the movie is about... go on... take a guess... its easy!
i really shoulda known.. i really should have.
first film i can remember that i ever almost turned off before id finished it. aside from that, the story wasnt too bad i gotta say. and the ending was fuckin brilliant.

well i cant say i regret seeing it, like i said, the story wasnt bad... i just cant help but think how much better the film would have been, and how much less id have wanted to throw my lunch, if the main character in the story wasnt a raving man lover, and his 'girlfriend' didnt turn out to be a freakin tranny... had i known, i definately wouldnt have downloaded it... but yeah i dont regret seeing it because the underlying story was interesting enough. but yeah im definately going to be wary of korean films from now on!
anyone wondering why i downloaded it in the first place and what the genre of the movie was, it was a crime thriller about some cops trying to find out who killed a wealthy gym owner (that much is alll i originally knew), then a guy who worked for him, and finally a club owner (all raving homo's btw... who sponsored the film anyway?! the Queer Koreans R Us? jeez!)
i still stand by my statement that the end fricken rocked though, and the reason is NOT just because all the queers in the film died

pretty slow, but a facinating film, and a great 'version' of the vampire concept. also the first pairing of del toro and ron fothermucking perlman!
