I prefer Acre myself but Jerusalem is OK.
(Just how am I supposed to grab that thing anyway, just keep falling when I try.)
(Though the men by the docks are a bit annoying always grabbing stuff.)
(Big golden globe and green tinted light but other than that nothing special.)
(Quite big though and climbable but I don't remember if there was a flag up there.)
Russian version obviously but it's fun to just run around and play the game as a sandbox experience.
(Collecting those flags and killing templars for example, albeit there's no real meaning to it as it doesn't give anything.)
EDIT: Come to think of it it's rather funny that I've seen all sorts of swords via screens but in the game Altair only has that blade he's given which is replaced after a while with another sword as a reward for completing a few assassinations. (Along with his shortsword, throwing knives and that hidden dagger.)

Just a small review of the "beta", yea i finally got around installing it in lack of other stuff to play at the mo. So far...excellent!!!. I love the graphical interface and the game play. One of the most "modern" looking games I played in a long time. I have seen it on the 360 (my son playing) but I think the PC version looks so much sweeter. I am only at the mission where you have to defend the "Assassins" fortress against the Templar's. Lets hope for a "proper rls" sooner then later.
The earliest store date I've seen so far is around the 10th of April so I'd say there's a very large chance of a release sometime next week.
(Perhaps even a few days earlier than intended considering how early the discs are shipped out and chances like a store starting to sell it early to get a better profit.)
Starting today, the PC version of Assassin's Creed is available for pre-purchase. Be one of the first to play the highly-awaited PC adaptation of the console hit—complete with four bonus missions unique to the PC release—when it releases on April 9th.
If the version on the net now it's not the final one we have to download the whole game again. I hope so because that was bugged like hell with a lot of random crashes and black bars.
And do you vaguely remember the nonexistence of Jerusalem?
But yeah, the black bars were annoying

Once again Jerusalem is available if you use the russian patch, you can apply it whenever you need to go in Jerusalem and thereafter you just revert to your own language files that you have previously backed up.
But it's also required to visit Jerusalem multiple times during the games story so that method can get a bit tedious by constantly moving those files around.
Seeing as the patch actually converts the English version to a fully Russian version I actually have both versions installed, might not be practical for those low on disc space though but it makes things a bit easier.
(Thankfully the savegame or rather profile works just fine on both editions but the Russian version can't change the stance/profile toggle so it's either on or off instead of the default hold the button mode which I prefer as it makes combat, especially blocking and dodging easier - Though perhaps that is because I use the mouse control mode or scheme.)
True, but that method still sucks and i don't think that i miss to much of the game, even though i can't play these parts
repetitive gameplay made it possible, so i thank the devs for making a game i can enjoy to its fullest with only a half of it
