In XP Pro I can copy and paste the newly created PPPOE connection for my Verizon internet into my start folder and presto when rebooting I autoconnect to the internet everytime no problem.
How do I do this in Vista Ultimate?

It does not let me copy the connection and paste it in the start folder
I have a Westell 2200 modem and reconfigured it so I could autoconnect
Problem was I got NAT errors with Azureus in both operating systems (dual boot system)and changed it back, which was the orginal problem I fixed in the XP only days
The only way I connect in Vista is to click on internet icon (manually connect) and wait for it to connect getting a little popup saying its makeing connection with secure password with 30 seconds going by then its connected

How do I autoconnect on boot like XP in Vista?
Thanks

The simplest way: install XP again Laughing I have no idea, but can't you just manually enter the needed info on the connection when you make new internet connection and set some kind of auto connect option??
