I got that german alcoholclone and it works just fine.
it includes a map editor where you have greater control over victory conditions as well which is very useful for multiplayer.
like I play with 2 or 3 friends of mine usually, and there's the victory condition "largest settlement".
In the game you can only select 2k pop, 10k pop or 20k pop.
And considering we're usually playing a peacful game, we usually only get to around 4k population.
So those victory conditions are absolutely useless. 10k is too high, 2k is way too low.
Now with the editor we can set everything ourself, to 4250 pop or whatever you like.
Pretty nice.

Kinda old news but here Anno_1701_The_Sunken_Dragon_CLONEDVD-PROCYON
nfo has a long installation instructions, even thou all you need is the latest daemon tools lite and that's it. they forgot to include cdkey, but the one from german release works.

By 'german release', you mean the original version? I tried the cdkeys from the original, but those don't work.
