Would I get flamed if I said I never thought the RCT series was any good? I tried playing RCT 2, didn't find anything noteworthy about it, even as a building sim. Boring goals, utterly lame and outdated graphics even for ITS time, and absolutley no tension. Who knows, maybe this one has some noteworthy improvements to it? More likely then not though, they prolly recycled 85% of the stuff from the previous one, put it into a new 3d engine so the kiddies piss their pants, and slapped a RCT2 label +1 on it 
I'll grab it and post some impressions later though, maybe they can redeem themselves with this one

best one yet,looks nice, plays well, love the water effects and coaster cam.Overall the interface is much the same just laid out different. Fireworks show adds a nice touch
Nice addition to the series, looks miles better and no slowdown with everything on max. Nice game!

The GFX of this game are amazing! Perhaps some of the best gfx of any game to date when maxed out. How awesome is the coaster cam!

damn nice game spoilt by a few gameplay bugs, and no weather effect wtf is the deal with that seems like people who bought the game have it, but I dont see any, is there an option that is turned off somewhere???

This game possibly has the worst UI since ages. Jesus christ, how can they not have seen it when they were developing the game :/
But other than that it's nice.

ive really just played the first scenario (career) so far but as soon as it turns Evening, then instead of night it just pops right back to Morning, anyone else has that? Is it just in the career or is there a wierd "skip night" setting i clicked on accidently??

The day and night settings have to do with the park opening and closing times. That's right, you can set what time it opens and closes. As for the rain, I've had it. It depends what month it is. and the time also.

errr it fell back to windows the first time, after that it rebooted my pc 2 times.... :S
