can I share my account? on usenetserver my gf used my account at the same time and they didn't care, giganews won't allow it. |

When i had Newshosting, you could be 2 on teh account at the same time, but i remeber getting an email from newshosting saying that if they see different IPs using the same account, the account will be canceled

I share my account. At first I received an email about it, but I sent one back saying screw you I use my account at home and work. They never send anything back and I've been sharing it even since. We don't use any more than the max # of connections allowed but I'm not sure if that affects it or just wouldn't work if we tried.

My room old room mate and i have decided to never tell anyone else about usenet. If people ask us how we get movies and such, we just say. Its quite complicated, you should just try torrents. If we can keep the majority of users on torrents, usenet may survive.

RS premium + private torrent trackers + IRC are more than enough for me.

nothing is 100 % safe. the point is, what chances do you have to get sued for using RS for downloading copyrighted material. How many other people were sued for getting copyrighted stuff from RS?
