The game it self runs fine (until now)
But i still have the issue with my xbox 360 controler : it has no vibration
Vibratioin in the menu is on but it's grayed out, so i can't change the setting.
Very strange, because if one controler should work flawless with this game, it should be the xbox 360 controler.
Anyone else got this problem??

For Vista it's:
C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Ubisoft\Assassin's Creed\Saved Games
So for XP it would be:
C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\Ubisoft\Assassin's Creed\Saved Games
EDIT: As mentioned the retail version uses numbers so just rename the files.
(Either if you have a existing savegame or check the INI file for the current name.)

my old saves not working
old one had files name.sav name.opt name.map
new one have 101010.sav and 101010.hdr
renaming the *.sav not working (not detect)
renaming also the name.opt to 101010.opt not working
renaming *.opt to *.hdr game crashes when entering profile select
what im doing wrong?

why is this game called ASSASSINS creed ??
u can't use stealth.the game dosn't have such thing.
on my first target i went i beat him to death.in public. i tried to climb a buliding to be under the target and then select a hidden blade just like in the videos 4 he game.
nothing happend. shit.

Hi guys,
I have a "problem" with my sound too.
In a cutscene my sound gets out of sync and the characters move i little bit slower in and after the cutscene. (looks like slow motion).
Does someone know a fix for this?
Thx in advice.

It has been mentioned before:

And where in this 'solution' do you see instructions on how to magically transform 3 files into 2, some of them don't even have the same extension.

Sound issues is not games fault, its probably if using crap onboard sound, lower the hardware acceleration for the problem to go away.

man i'm beginning to hate this game.
I loaded my saved games fomr the other version. So i decided to do the jeruzalem mission.
when i get there i even can't use counter kill ? wtf now i suck cause the controls suck i mean wtf no counter kill, i have to push and hold knop1
...

something strange happened to me i was running trough the town and a civilian guy in white clothes started to run and pushed me into a chanel/brook and i died in the water... im sure it was code47 because it was so fast and unpredictable and sytlish... it was no soldier or cross knight so im still wondering.... i became assasinated i think^^

Some of the poor districts in the cities appear to have "mentally ill" people pushing and shoving you, quite irritating similar to beggars but I never knew they could be fatal.
(The docks at Acre might be a problem but the hidden blade should finish them off quickly unless you try to spring into them and push them in the water yourself.)

i would have killed him but like i said i was wondering why the guy runned after me i stupped near the docks and he pushewd me into the water... next im im ready to kill everyone running in my direction^^
its like standing at the bus station to near at the street waiting for the bus and someone pushes you right into the bus... very frightening.... i like this kind of realism and sick npcs waiting to harm you but i really miss the stealth(like in tenchu) like mentioned before i feel more like spiderman/terminator... but besides that i really like the game but i could had become outstanding but its only cool from my view

uh... how the fuck do i exit this game without going through this procedure:
Exit Memory
Exit Animus (lookt at 5 sec sequnece)
Quit game
Click "yes" (another sequence.. some loading)
Select Profile (wtf?)
Exit (finaly!!!!)
It can't be this stupid...
I really don't like the Hud, at least in 1680x1050 the different hud thingies needs to be pushed much more to the corners.
Game seems kind of fun, controlls are better than i thought.. very good performance even with AA and everything on highest, i almost expected Crysis perfomance, but its way better which is good.

You can be stealthy by controlling the pace of your walk, i.e. with an analogic thumbstick, doing so you can sneak behind enemies and kill people without being noticed by using the hidden sword at close range. If you use the keyboard with this game you will miss such a feature.
