It just took me over half an hour to install COD 4.
I installed Crysis and Assassins Creed with no problems in about 5 minutes. Thus, I'm guessing this has something to do with the Installshield used in COD 4 (Crysis and AC use different ones). Anyone else have this issue?
Tried restarting, using DT Pro instead of Lite - still the same shit.
Just when I thought my Vista experience was going smooth (after going back for like the 8th time)....
I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.

Plus, answer me this - in what other OS can you stream pr0n on your desktop background? Hmm? That's right! NONE!!
Seriously though, was wondering if anyone else had this issue of piss slow install on that particular game, or any others.
I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.

cod 4 installed fine here on vista ultimate .
it doesnt have sp1 yet.
and it installed in abou 8 minutes with DT pro

actually you can get a patch to run the desktop background as a movie for XP also.[/quote]

Hmm, By using VLC to do it! No thanks, unless theres a different solution out there now? FYI Call Of Duty 4 had a long enough install for me using Daemon of around 12mins, but tbh, It didnt worry me, on Ultimate x64 btw...
