Been playing 2 days straigt, im in memory block 4 and I only crashed once and that wasn't even the game.

The increase in performance over the pre-release version to me, is noticeable. It stutters less, and overall I have a higher frame-rate.
As before, DX10 mode only offers slightly better graphics, but I loose about 10-15 FPS, so it isn't worth it.

dx10 mode doesnt give shit, the gfx are the same, cut the crap out.

Apparently your comprehension skills of the English language are quite horrible. As if you would have even a smidgen of understanding, you would understand that I said DX10 offers nothing but a performance decrease.

If you state that this means "nothing but a performance decrease", then you should add yourself to the dumbass list as well... Hell, add me too if you want to have it longer.
Anyone knows if the new forge files are compatible with the beta released last month?

Well vista dx10 is faster than vista dx9 for me, I havent tried xp dx9 though. And yes, the graphics is more crisp in dx10.

i don't play alot of games offen,but i got 2 try this one!when i ment soon,i was thinking of 1.5,2,3 years...........i know how much it takes to make a new one,but i was thinking at an addon or something,so that they dont't have to take as along as 2,3 years to make

That is interesting but vista dx9 is known to be slow and inferior to xp dx9 I guess vista is concentrating on dx10.

I had the same problem, both with the beta and this retail version.. I solved it by copying eax.dll from STALKER(in the bin dir).. Otherwise google for eax.dll version 3.0.1.0 thats what Im using from STALKER and it works fine...

Yes it is interesting. I thought it was all a lot of bullcrap when the devs stated that theyve implemented DX10 features to actually run the game smoother but they were actually correct, at least on MY system spec. Remember, things like this is relative depending on specs.

Nothing to do with Vista. Ati and nVidia have had years and years to develop drivers for XP. nVidia is just getting drivers out for Vista that don't crash the whole OS and ATi are only slightly better with .NET support.

I love this setting, so I am happy to have this. Though it feels more like some interactive tech demo than anything. A fancy way to show off massive crowd AI or something. Hopefully Splinter Cell: Conviction will be more than 'Assassins Creed lookie at what we can do' part 2.

Man, how sad is this, i just bought the game, installed it and when i want to play it asks me to put in the DVD. But the DVD is already in the player. I had to use the crack to play the game, Thank you Ubisoft!
