Ok i'm stuck on making the compass, i think i have all the bits to make it but can't workout how to magnatise the needle if anyone can help

I'm stuck in the jail and have to create a decoy simon. But I don't know what to use other than the carpet which still requires something else.. and the straws are too less.....
1 and 2 are still amazing.

Take the straws from both your cell and the cell with "Goldilocks in it, combine them and use them with the rug to create the decoys body and place it in your cell then take the scarf in "Goldilocks" cell and combine it with the glass tube to create the head for the decoy and place it with the body.

Simon 1 & 2 was so good, why not just develop 2D games?, I will play it anyway, this game doesn't need modern graphics (IMO)
I used to be a knee like you. Then I took an adventurer in the arrow.

Ok i'm stuck again on the picture in swampies house, i know you have to uncover the real picture underneath somehow. I am guessing i need to use the spnoge with something to take the top layer of painr\t off, and then get it identified by the poor rich man in the ally
