There is NO drop in performance in this case, but there IS an improvement in quality

usb1.x performance is directly relative to your cpu consumption
if the game is taking a lot of juice off your machine, there's none left for usb1.x
usb2 does not have this problem
look into your motherboard details if it has usb2, and see that it's plugged in the usb2 port and the usb drivers are up to date

DX10 seems to be a complete waste of time for everyone who worked on it... or as it seems didnt even really do that...
I really wonder how DX10 in crysis and in general would perform in XP

is there anymore to this game than just running around, triggering a few sequences here and there and creeping up behind the main assassination target and doing a silent kill? - rinse and repeat across all different cities?
this game could have had soooo much more potential. but it just seems so reptative?

It should have been a Thief/Hitman in a world like that instead it's a crappy console game in a a great environment.

Its also possible to invade your targets location right through the front door bashing through hords of enemys and engage in a pathetic duel with the boss
I found myself not even recognizing that i was fighting my target... well until that stupid bastard suddenly started a discussion with me while all other life seems to have come to an halt or nobody really cares...

thanks for the help. i have an abit nf-m2s board and there are no usb2.0 drivers that i can find. in cmos for usb you can either enable 1.0/2.0 together or just 1.0 by itself so not sure what else i can do to make sure all the devices are using 2.0

The game is way to repetitive, the story is interesting but it's so boring between assassinations that the quality of the story doesn't make up to it... And the ending leaves a Crysis taste in my mouth... Or like watching the first LOTR movie. You just think: "WTF??? This is it??"
