Really? Care to post some tips then? From what I've seen it seems to be useless but I might be wrong though...

BaronOfHell, play on realistic, and try taking a shotgun with you, and shooting at someone. In one minute, you have 10-15 man shooting at you from every direction. Then try taking a silenced P90 and doing the same (but killing him before he sees you and fires his weapon, hence letting everyone know where you are.

yes it is haha. It just goes to show you how much they know abotu this shit and should have left it to red storm. If they can't even get a gun right, how do they make a game based around them
Not to go too far off topic but there's a second, somewhat longer video as well where they show some other types of ammunition, seems it can even fire special grenades.
Going back to Vegas2 I liked the SPAS12 just fine albeit it wasn't something I used often but it helped quite a bit during heavy firefights in small rooms.
(I didn't really use that many shotguns beside it though.)
I can see the tactics right now (for a non-hostage situation):
You take a few men, give them this beast, stand outside of the house - no need for them to risk their lives - and just shoot the base of the house. In one minute the house falls on the perps' heads.
Ah I see, I'm a bit bad when it comes to weapon knowledge as I don't have any actual experience with firearms.
(Don't really need it either, things are pretty calm around here, heh.)
Hey atleast it isn't like the SPAS in Half-Life that is able to fire two shots at a time.
(Though a sawn-off or similar might have fit some of the lower-end terrorists in this game.)
(EDIT: Come to think of it there wasn't really any low-end/low-tech terrorists.)
EDIT: That video was pretty impressive, room clearing and similar (In the game.) would be a bit easier with such fire support.

Full auto on shotgun is useless gimmick. You can kill one man just as easy with automatic shooting or without, only difference is that with normal shotgun you don’t have an empty barrel for other guys.
How the hell do you win against a chopper? It's insanely difficult since I'm being constantly fired upon by a helicopter and guys are runing from everywhere throwing grenades at me and effectively negating my cover. Oh and I'm alone with not teammate support. When I fire at the chopper I make him switch position but before it does, it launches rockets that vaporize half the screen...
Worked well but it kept pushing my rank down to just below Elite when I tried it, still the only unlocks one misses if that happens is the custom camouflage.
(And I preferred the gray camo anyway, albeit white and black were also pretty nice. )

Two new assault rifles, but they are nothing special. It's funny how Ubi opened all the best weapons from the start, while locking some shit ones. Should have been the other way around.

Locations: A couple of casinos, the rest is ghetto neighborhood, some warehouses, a gym and some crap (really feels jaded compared to the first one).

Game is short as fuck, and guess what, another lame cliffhanger.
Some maps are hilariously small. One time it was loading -> play 2 minutes -> loading.

game is short yes, and so what? its awesome from start to end, and this game is made for mp mode!! look at cod4... !
small maps? some maps are small, that way are more competitive and hard.
the locations are different from the first vegas, great they did that.
