I Read upto the third page . Sounding as immense as it is , I really think the reviews are gonna take away from the gaming experience a little ( by the sounds of that review , Multiple paths might be a goer ) so might give it a knock on the head

It was a letter to the reviewers who got the game though by the sounds of it . Might just be scaremongering ( /me disconnects cat5 just to be safe )

Erm... if anyone is really that bothered about it can't they just create a silver gamertag (for free) and then play offline? As far as I was aware the IP address or mac address of the user isn't captured and saved offine for future reference.
Horrordee, I'm confused by your stance on this. Your penultimate in the last thread stated that you smell a release, now you're saying just to chill and basically don't expect it by Friday. So which is it?

I'm thinking thursday but thats purely a shot in the dark based on timing of other big games throughtout the years. The "scene" obviously doesn't have it yet as there's no advantage to delaying a release so I figure 5/6 days before release isn't unreasonable.

Indeed, but like I edited, Horrodee is at least attempting to keep things on topic. I had originally thought he/she was in the know but maybe it was speculation. Who knows, as far as I'm aware, its out when its out.
I wasnt being a dick, you just posted right after him and didnt answer so i taught maybe you missed it. and i was interested in the answer, wich i had missed(wich was funny btw)
If you're really paranoid and think they're going to go back through the achievement records to find people you should do the following:
(Before putting the game in the 360)
1. Disconnect the ethernet cable.
2. Make a new gamertag, make it the default. Even better, delete your gold profile and just recover it after the 29th.
3. Play the game using the new silver profile.
4. After April 29th, delete the profile.
5. Reconnect cable, play for reals.
