You guys are all lucky. I was so excited when I saw the ntsc version. So I got it in a couple hours... excitedly turned on my 360, which up to right now had no problems only to find out I now have an e74 error(Number 4 red light). SO yeah, before I could even put in my new aquired game, i was screwed. I know its a lil off topic,but have any of you had any ways you have fixed an e74 error? Its not the av cables cause I tried a second one with same error. SO that leaves the "encoder chip" which I have no clue about. If I cant fix it I might just go buy a new one and switch out the good insides and return the good casing with the screwed up shit in it.(I Know im cheap,oh well,kill me)

Amazing game!..
Rockstar is asking the gametags of user for early play.
So don't get your ass online. OR be safe with the memory stick trick.
For me...? Fuck MP! LOL SP is simply amazing enough for me FUCK!

Im running the game on a ms28 at 12x, burned on verb with 2x.
Ive played for about 9 hours and i havent seen any glitches yet.
Only a couple of popups but they were both bushes on the side of a road.
You could also use your hdd if you dont want to buy a memorycard and then format it , reset your console to factory settings and then recover your profile.

Quick Question for you guys.
I know you absolutely should not go on live or have the ethernet connected but is it absolutely necessary to create a seperate profile all together?
The idea of going through the SP missions then having to start again when I use my real gamertag kinda blows.
Can you get by with playing with your regular profile and staying offline?

It's going to get tagged by a profile either way. If you create a profile and you don't use it on live then the profile will never connect to live when you use it. The only drawback to this is, your acheivment points are now stored in a seperate profile and not in your main one you normally use.
I'm using my main live profile, I just don't have any reason to connect until after Tuesday when the game goes on sale. Then when Tuesday hits it won't matter as everyone will be playing on-line.

I moved my date forward by a month and remain offline till next week. Hopefully won't get detected. If I get banned again, I' going to go over to PS3 online gaming, there's only COD4 worth it's salt anyway online

If you go to the settings blade, there is an option to format, and also to reset to factory settings. To recover your profile, just press the guide button and there should be an option for that there.

Just play it with ethernet cable disconnected and under different gamertag which you guys never use.

Just burned the NTSC ver. This game is amazing!!! The only thing that threw me off a bit is the characters seemingly sloppy control and the same for the first couple of junk cars you get to drive. (Roman's taxi).
To be safe, i unplugged my wireless and advanced the month to may. Not going online until it's released.

I was playing Multiplayer for a while today, and it is really smooth.. When more people have the game, it will be loads better... The free Roam is fun if you have friendly fire turned ON.
