Hi guys,
I'm trying to play ut 2004 in lan but it keeps saying my cd-key is invalid. I can play for like 45 seconds and then it says my key is invalid and i'm kicked from the server. Remember this is in lan.
Plz help.

You should try disconnecting from the internet and then try, or find a private server patch.

I'm on a lan party right now, so disconnecting from the internet isn't really an option. I'll look for a private server patch but thanx anyway.

Check what ip/dns ut2004 is accesing when it's checking the key and block it with a firewalll. You can type netstat in cmd to check all connections.

check if anyone in your lan has the same key as you have... maybe it's double-used, so one of you can't play.
