So I was looking into buying an xbox 360 and obviously first thing I did is go online and check the prices. What I found, stumped my brain for a few minutes and then spawned this thread.
I live in Israel, lots of people don't like Israel, heck I don't care much for it myself and now I have one more reason to be irritated with said country; you see, the price for the xbox 360 premium in toys'r'us in the US is 350 $. Here in the same chain store the price is 800 $
Further research online brought me to smaller stores that specialize in consoles which sell the xbox 360 premium also at the 'more then double the price' of 800 $, but at least they sell it with a mod chip.

I don't know anyone in the US and I don't know of any trustworthy stores that'll ship the console overseas.

Two solutions:
- Some friend comes to Israel from US on a business trip or vacation and brings you the console. 0 tax, 0 shpping.
- You ask someone in US to get the console and ship it to you as a personal parcel without the papers, invoice etc. 0 tax, you only pay for shipping

I ship shit to other countries for people. Though it's not worth the customs trouble if the customs in your country is shit. Stuff I sent out to belgium my buddy hasn't gotten from customs yet and it's been about a month, he's faxed em and everything.

That Premium version (1900NIS) is the old 105nm version that RRODs after one hr of gameplay.  Yes, Israeli shops want more money for the new 65nm version.

You mean a pc? You know at the price they're asking I COULD get a nice rig if I reuse some parts I have lying around, like hdd, monitor, psu and a dvdrw.

Yeah, I was talking about getting a 65 version with the 20gb hdd on account of the rrods.
I think I should, with the options I have, is to wait for the paycheck and just bite the bullet, a 1000NIS(almost 300$) bullet. Damn you console exclusives; re5,sh5 and sw:u!!
It's stupid getting a console JUST for 3 games...

While I dont watch soccer all the time, I do enjoy the games i catch on tv. I find it very entertaining. And the skill the atheletes have are crazy.
Usually the games I catch are either the italian leagues, uefa leagues or english leagues. I prefer UEFA over the bunch.
Isnt that the champions league? |
