Maybe not that many are using the side bar running VISTA, but I could not live without them. This is what I run.
1. Clock
2. Callender
3. Weather (Frankfurt)
4. SR Player (all Swe radio channels)
5. Network Meter (up/down)
6. Everest Meter (checking temps and stuff, req Everest Ultimate Ed)

no i wasnt kidding, and i havent been using vista for that long. havent had much experience with it and normally i just close the sidebar icon

i disabled side bar first time i started vista after it was installed, it was that simple
