It is a very funny video, but equally inaccurate in portrayal if anyone is curious.

"We found a problem with keyboard input stalling single threaded PCs due to a lack of time allowed for the keyboard update to run. A by product of our recent preformance tuning I'm afraid. We could not realease a demo with this problem in it, but it's now been fixed and the demo is being prepped as I speak. Just waiting for the final nod from QA, which I suspect will come early tomorrow morning GMT."

Graphics are like dirt with different background
Controls are like dirt, too simple for toca series may be the easiest from all series until now
The game looks more arcade (good or bad?)

It's an arcade racer, played the PS3 demo. Very much like DIRT and all the other recent codemaster racing games. The instant replay thing was 'stolen' from another game I believe. Can't remember what it was called.

weren't there some problems, that you sometimes couldn't get back enough, so you'd just rewatch your death?

but that feature would make for some uber-cool perfect-run movies Smile Like those tool-assisted speedruns

I think you should remove the link... You might get banned.

 Spoiler:

Besides, it doesn't look that legit to me... 893.86MB? Anything these days is at least 1.5GB.

Edit: Hm, this might be the filefront demo that was pulled off due to bugs in MP. I'll wait for a confirmation before downloading.

Firstly, thanks to all of you for your patience today. We all know how frustrating it is when waiting for something that you can't wait to get your hands on.

Well the great news is, that you CAN! As mentioned earlier, the team here at Codies have worked flat out to fix the issue in the earlier demo and they have succeeded. The PC GRID demo will go LIVE today, at 8pm BST.

The reason for the time delay is to allow our mirrored sites to grab the demo from us and prepare it for you to download. As there are now so many of you waiting, we want to ensure that you have a painless process getting the demo and we have lined up lots of excellent sites for you.

We will post links later today with all the mirror sites and of course, you can add to this as you find more. Don't forget you can also win a rare GRID T-Shirt in our forum competition

Thanks again!!!!

Codies Community Team.

And demo was delayed because:

Hi everyone.

We know you all have been waiting patiently for the GRID PC demo today but unfortunately, we have had to put the release date back. We were all set for a Friday release but a couple of major bugs were found in the final demo code that we released to our mirror sites.

We thought it would be best to inform you all now, rather than keep you hanging on. The demo is has been recalled from the mirror sites.

We are working around the clock to fix this issue and we will update you all once we have news. Thank you again for your patience.

I wanna know the guy responsible for Codemasters games menus, he needs a medal. I prefer the Colin McRae game menus, but even this one is nice.

really, I hated the Dirt menu's, I mean they look nice but they were akward to manoeuvre through, for PC users that is.
