My neck is fuckin killing me! Like really bad

I took a buncha painkillers last nite and started to watch a movie on my cpu and I guess i passed out. Slept with my head down on my chest for like 12 hours on my cpu chair. When I woke up, I could barely move my neck/head.

Anyone have any suggestions on how to make it feel better? Ive taken a few painkillers and they helped a bit and ive tried to massage it but it hurts to much.

What about using a heating pad with a massage fuction? Think that would work?

lol already take sedatives Smile

they dont help with pain man. What i need is someone who knows how to give a proper massage. I have this massage thingy, but it hurts when i use it. like not just slightly hurts, but hurts alot.

I put the heating pad on my neck and it seems to be helping. Might go sit in the shower and let the water hit my neck (cause it acts like a massage)

I do have a friend who gives really good massages, but she's away for the weekend Sad

Take a hot bath, if it doesn't work try the heating pads.

Sorry to hear about your neck. I hope it gets better soon. I used to put my neck out once in a while but then I realized I was streching weird too fast after I woke up. I find if I am working and swimming I pull things less often.

I think a hot bath might help relax the muscles. When you get out you can continue with the heating pad. That is what I do for the ache in my ankles when it rains. Good for cold feet on a cold day that won't warm up.

Well, my neck has relaxed a little, not a tight and i can move my head around without that much pain.

@pistol

thats what i did, about the bath. I took a hot shower first (before bed last nite), let the water massage my neck, then a really hot bath and went to sleep and today my neck feels better. Never gunna pass out on my cpu chair again

@krill

lol then it totally went over my head lol

Yeah, and there are certain tv shows that somehow multiply the sleep effect...

Only finding a comfortable position where your neck can be relaxed will help.

its just something to discuss and i was pointing out how much of an idiot i was by falling asleep in my chair...geez, and you say i take things to seriously.

@pistol

Im the opposite (if Im alone that is) when I sleep. I like listening to the tv (usually a star trek movie) before i go to sleep. Helps my mind relax.
If im sleeping with someone, then it doesnt matter. I sleep better when i sleep with someone

I used to have to sleep with this tiny lavender eye pillow. It start off on my eyes to keep them shut. Then I would move to my side. always ended up with in clutched in my fist. I would wake up the next morning and I would still be holding it.

My mom bought my dog a big stuffed black bear for christmas. He was scared of it so it is mine now. I sleep with that. The nose fits perfectly into my neck and keeps my head in just the right comfy position

Glad the neck is better syco.
