The original thread starter (Jim_West?) only ever made 3 posts and appears to have disappeared! lol. I would be quite proud of this if I were him.

I have so much shit to watch its just unreal. It would be a good thing if my internet disconnect for like 1 year.

Last things i watched (last week)

Iron Man - I liked it very much
Street Kings - Liked this one 2.
National Treasure 2 - Also liked this one
Cloverfield - Heared many bad things about it, but i LIKED it very much. Its just something that wasnt done before. (yeah i know its already old Very Happy)
Rambo 2008 - A fairly reasonable movie
WAR - Waiste of my time. I was expecting something epic. Its watchable but thats about it.
Vantage Point - A good movie. But after al while you get tired of all the fakking replays. I dont have to know every fakking thing that happend in like 10 minutes.
Forbidden Kingdom - I was expecting something very different. Because i didnt see legend of the monkey king. So i didnt know what it was about. But the movie is very good and entertaining.

Thats about what i watched last week.

Intel® Core™ 2 Duo E6600 2.4 GHz, (2x 1GB) G.E.I.L. DDR2 - 1066, ASUS P5K DELUXE/WIFI-AP LGA 775 Intel P35, MSI 8800 GTX OC 630/2000, Western Digital Caviar SE16 500 GB, Zalman ZM600-HP 600W - HP 744, HP 7280 - GBA, CG, XBOX, X360, PS2, PS3, PSP, WII

I watched 21 after gems recommendation and it was really entertaining. A little bit too predictable but 8/10 are really good Wink Made me even laugh some times Smile Kevin Spacey was underused though...

Indiana Jones 4 - 7/10.
Entertaining, but there were some things I went like "WTF?" when I saw.

Funny Games - 6/10
I liked it - but it was almost too weird Smile

Captivity - 6/10
When I first saw this one, I saw the first release of it and thought it was quite good. Yesterday I decided to see the other version. It was ok, but they had removed too many scenes for my taste. But I did like the new gore though Smile

shitloads of new stuff in my pc. Cant keep track of it all.

Yeah it was pretty lame... Will Ferrel is got to reinvent himself if he wants to survive on the big screen.

Neon Genesis Evangelion OAV 1 / 2 / serie : 5 / 5 / 9 ... maybe slightly ot ... anyway one of the greatest mecha (even if it would be a bit reductive to define it so) anime serie i have ever seen, just a bit "heavy" in the last couple of episodes, i strongly recommend it to anyone that never had the opportunity to see it.
The movies imho, especially after seeing the serie, aren't worth to be seen.

Awake - 9/10

Every couple of years or so a movie comes out which isnt perfect, yet draws me in. The last films to do so worth note of where :

Birth - 9/10 Gem of a movie.
 Spoiler:

They(ils) - 9/10 Another one.
 Spoiler:

These movies arent spectacular portrayals of what a film should be (forrest gump, Donnie darko, no country for old men, mr brooks) but they have a unique flare about them which draws me in. I then stop rating the movie on the usual morals, acting, story, cinematography etc, and focus more on the relatives and tones which I enjoy about the film.

Awake 'did it' for me. Besides wanting to fuck Jessica Alba, there was something amongst the surreal sound and mellowed scenes that I loved. The interesting relationship between Sam and Clay was good too.

I recommend it. (it didnt do well at the box office at all though. But via PM's ive became aware of a few people who trust my film judgement on here - so this one is for YOU!)

Iron Man 8/10 - Surprisingly good, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
National Treasure 2 1/10 - The most horrible piece of crap I've seen in a very long time. Blergh.
Street Kings 5/10 - Nothing too good, nothing too bad. A bit of a "meh", really.

I also think fisk should be unbanned.

street kings: 6/10
very mediocare movie. nothing special, poor acting and very obious plot.
but some nice action scenes.

flawless: 8/10
very god heist movie starring demi more.
the start of the movie is a bit slow but it gets very interesting later on.

forbidden kingdom: 6/10
only some of the action scenes are good, the rest is pure kiddy movie.

lost series: 2/10
how i miss the amazing first season when each episode was amazing.
now its start to look like former j.j. abrahams series Alias (R.I.P).
what a mess of episodes. nothing is makes sense anymore.
i couldnt care less about this series anymore.

Prince caspian 4/10 - Movie is slow, doesn't really start until 1 hour in, and then it's more of a kids story (probably appreciated by the teens).

Indiana Jones 4 7.5/10 - Follows in the same veins and the last one and feels very "Indiana". Only lacking a bit more puzzles/thinking from Indiana's side, but otherwise very fun adventure movie that belongs back with the rest of them (I could see it be a nice trilogy if you rip out Temple of Doom Razz).

Upcoming PC games 2009 and onwards
