sad. just fucking sad... pathetic... worthless... ill admit i had 2 or 3 laughs out of certain things (mainly subtle ways characters did things/delivered lines, not talking about the pathetic gags...), but otherwise it was absolutely shite.
...how fucking SAD it is, that given all that... this film still is only the third worst film i saw this year, and not the absolute worst... thats just wrong...

Its cos spoof movies have been done to death and revived and ran over several times as a genre. they have to resort to stupid shit now and they fail most of the time. Scary movie milked the last of the genre.

diary of the dead. 5.5/10
wasnt unwatchable, but id never bother watching it again. had some cool visual effects, but all the characters were completely unlikeable, and making the same old tired cliche stupid decisions. the story was also pretty dull... even the day of the dead remake was way better than this! i just expected way more from romero to tell u the truth. apparently hes making another diary film? hope its better than this one...
the amish guy was a fuckin crack up though 
i thought the camera man in cloverfield was a fucking twat, but the guy in THIS movie takes the cake... what a complete asshole... is there some unwritten rule that all camera men in these types of films have to be jackasses? i only regret that he didnt die first (and not just because that woulda made the film an hour shorter )
samurai 7 - 7/10 just finished the series and it was really quite good. the deaths kinda sucked though, i felt most of them had really shitty deaths... wasnt as epic as id hoped, but it was still damn good. great story and well executed.

If your a negative thinker you think the idiot died and no ones going to protect the woman or child and the rescue boat is more than likely also a trap and the world is doomed.... DOOMED (sorry I just like saying doomed).
I think this in a form of way is a brilliant way to end the movie. |
