					| |
					| Activision has released a video showing off the new drum kit controller set to ship for Guitar Hero World Tour, and it's much better than Rock Band's, promise.
As you can see demonstrated by drum men of Blink 182, The Police and Red Hot Chilli Peppers, the Guitar Hero drums are velocity sensitive and have two cymbals. So basically the harder you hit it, the louder the sound. That's what a drum kit does anyway.

The forth title in the series goes beyond drums and down the full-on the Rock Band route, with vocals bass and guitar and also supported

Excitingly, there's a bit more customisation this time around as well, letting you modify the crap out of in-game tracks and even design your own record sleeve - though we're less excited about that one.

Confirmed bands so far consist of Van Halen, The Eagles, Linkin Park and Sublime. Expect it before the year's end.

					| All I got to say is that I'm gonna think really hard before I dish out another $180 for a set. The RockBand drums are ok, until they break, which is quite a common case.

					| If the drumkit really is that good I might sell the Rock Band one on eBay and get just the GH4 one. But on to the bands: if there is Hotel California I am going faint.

					| I'm sorry, I love rockband and all.... But I am sick of the SHIT they put in the game!! I am sick of playing songs from the 70's and 80's from bands that are trying to jump start their career again! I hate Metallica with a passion (most of you GH fans will kill me on that one)!! I just want to play more songs that came out in the past 2 years!! Songs that I still listen to on a regular basis! Yeah, dont get me wrong, some classic rock songs are good! But overloading the game with them is ridiculous!!! | |

					| Its too expensive to buy the copyright songs that are still popular, thats why you dont see much of them.

					| On the contrary, I'd like more classics... but awesome classics please. beach boys with surfin usa, more Queen songs... and less punk please.
But I guess it's quite hard to satisfy everyones taste so I guess it's ok. But I have to say, even after having about 40 songs from DLC for Rock Band, I still liked GHs music better.

Don't worry, I'm sure there's gonna be a "I have no taste in music hero" coming out sooner or later, where you can play all your favorite Linkin Park and Nickelback rock classics!

 OMFG last two years bwahahaha.

And the remark about "The Past 2 Years" was just an example.... Maybe put more music that came out in the past 6 years!! | |

					| Aight, you just made me want to buy GH4
First, i was tempted to buy rock band 2 because it has float on by modest mouse, which i like quite a bit, but i think rock band just doesn't catch that rock 'n roll vibe the guitar hero series has.

But now it's definite, Fuck rock band, I'm buying guitar hero on tour!

Same here, i said it from day one that RB songs sucks monkey balls, even borowed my friend drum and its still boring. GH games have the best songs out there.

When you look at all GH games, the last set of songs are fuckin bad ass, then on RB all you have to say to yourself is "wtf are those songs??!!"

					| Well from my own testing , RB Guitar dont work with GH3 and GH2 but does work with GH Aerosmith..
GH Guitar works with RB .

So my guessing is that the new RB gear should work with RB1 and GH Aerosmith at least and a possiblity of GH3 and GH2 and the New GH4 gear will work with RB1,

I will test the new gear with RB1 when i buy GH4 supreme bundle and post results

					| well, seems the xbox 360 version of the GH4 instruments will word with RB1. but what about the PS3 version? I'd love to be able to play all those music games, but i don't want to fill up my living room with 2 drums, 4 guitars (1 for rockband, 1 for GH4, a free one i'm getting with GH4 and the one i already have from GH3)That's just too many plastic intruments | |
