actually I think they decided to ditch the Oldboy remake Smile
http://www.rottentomatoes.com/news/1648167/

and JSA is still my favourite Chan-Wook Park film, but yeah OB is a close second.

thats gotta be some fuckin great news right there.

i think they probably ditched it because of the ending and the whole...you know... event... thingy... *dont wanna spoil it for those who aint seen it Very Happy* - i think it woulda made mainstream americans very uncomfortable and shitloads of 40+ year old housewives with nothing better to do than bitching about things, would complain about it instead of cleaning the fucking house.

either way, im happy this isnt another asian movie the americans are ruining.

azumi's not a little known film. unfortunately neither is its horrible unwatchable shitfest of a sequel.

if you watch azumi, great. i really like kitamuras work, but holy fucking porcupines, the second film was such horrible shit, anyone who enjoys it needs a kick in the head.

Just remembered this one:

Shiri/Swiri

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0192657/

Trailer:

Amazing action thriller with a tragic love story that only koreans can produce. A must see.

p.s. starring Yunjin Kim (Sun) from Lost, btw
